Capital O 16608 Raku's Place

I stayed at Raku's for almost 2 months, and it was the most wonderful experience! The staff is friendly, polite, very accommodating, and the quality of service is unmatched. The smoothies here are just divine and I assure you their coffee is the best in all of Himachal! I made some amazing friends and awesome memories here, and I'll definitely visit again. Oh and don't forget to try their steaks while you're there!

​Very nice & budget friendly hotel with modern interiors, good bath fittings. Most impressive part was super spacious rooms. The only thing where we felt this hotel lacks is the breakfast part. Pranthas hardly had any stuffing. Breads hardly had butter on them. Location of the hotel is also quite good as it's very near to main market, famous bakery shops and bhagsunath waterfalls.

This is one of the budgeted hotels of oyo. Near to bhagsunag Taxi stand.Take left from German bakery and go straight up the road and you will find this hotel. Mountains covered with snow can be seen from the hotel itself.The rooms are spacious. The food was good.But the taste of the Tea degraded with each order.Also food is little expensive here. Rooms have balcony from where you can enjoy the view of local shops and tourist purchasing items from shops.There is a bar and a cafe below as well.So many cafe near to this location.

Good hotel option to stay in Mcleodganj bhagsu area. We stayed here in family(suit) room and classic room as well. Room were clean and hotel have breakfast facility as well with 3-4 eating options, room service only. I wanted to give 5 star but we faced some issues as well as on first day morning time there was electricity back up issue and another day they gave us towels which were dirty already. So they need to improve this. Rest everything is great.

Good hotel i would say. All facilities were goods. Rooms were big enough and clean. Only issue is the steep elevation (tha too is expected on hill side hotels). All good. Reccomendation for hotel : Use room spray or keep room open before checkin.

I stay in Raku's place many times, this is one of my favourite places in India. Raku is a very kind and good-hearted manager and owner. He remembers all the guest's names and does his best to make customers happy for any requests they may have. Food is fantastic and the services are great. Staff are very friendly and helpful Rooms are very comfortable and clean with a good view. there is always a music band playing .which makes the cafe very warm and cosy. I Highly recommend Raku's place. Don't stay anywhere, stay in Raku's place.

Believe us, we don't know who posted good reviews about this place. We were a group of 4 college students wanting to explore McLeod Ganj and Triund. We sadly checked in at 9:00 AM (because our bus arrived early), and we were charged extra 300 just for the one day stay. Toiletries were not provided, very rude staff, TV only has about 3 useful channels, no kettles, extra 400/- for heaters in the room. However, the only good thing there were the views from the rooftop. And yes, no slippers were provided, not even one, you can imagine now how we lived there for a day.

Location is nice but you have to walk a bit up slope, its quiet and peaceful. Cafe of the hotel is amazing and a plus point. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Value for money.
