Misleading Name and Unhygienic Conditions The Hotel Rc Regency Luxury By Royal Collection does not live up to its name or the luxury it claims to offer. This hotel has severe issues that pose a risk to guests' health and well-being. Pervasive Mould Problem The most concerning issue is the presence of black mould throughout the premises. Despite informing the staff about the mould problem after just one night, they showed no concern or willingness to address it. This lack of action forced me to find alternative accommodation for my own safety. Unsanitary Rooms and Poor Housekeeping The rooms themselves were in an appalling state of uncleanliness. Even after requesting a room cleaning, I had to clean it myself. The pillows, rugs, and bathrooms were disgustingly mouldy and had clearly not been properly cleaned or maintained for months. Unprofessional and Neglectful Staff The staff's attitude was unprofessional and neglectful. They seemed indifferent to the concerns raised about the mould and poor hygiene. Some staff members even appeared to be under the influence of alcohol while on duty. When I attempted to check out, there was no staff available for over half an hour. Deceptive Marketing and Lack of Accountability While the hotel may have received positive reviews in the past, the current management appears to have completely disregarded basic standards of cleanliness and guest safety. The hotel's marketing and photos are deceptive, failing to accurately represent the lack of care, dirty rooms, and mouldy conditions throughout the premises. One Positive: Nearby Cafe The only redeeming factor is the hotel's proximity to the excellent Seeker Cafe, which provides a refreshing contrast to the disappointing experience at the hotel itself. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel unless you are willing to risk your health and well-being. The mould issue alone should be a major deterrent, as evidenced by a friend who fell ill after a 5-night stay.

I had a lovely and warm stay here. Hotel is excellent in all ways staff, hygiene, food, room service... Would suggest every one to stay here atleast once they would love it as I do. Staff is very polite and friendly. Definitely will come back to stay

These rookies play loud music till 11pm in the night to disturb all the hotel guests in the name of satisfying their so called guests across vicinity. Never book them if you are coming with your family, and they might pick fight with u if you tell them to reduce music volume. Dont go to this unethical /unprofessional hotel. Their novice hotel owner is himself not upto the ethics of hospitality and says we will play music till 11 and i cant shutdown for any parents across hotels instead his guests booze is more important for him than the peace of 100 tourists staying in neighbouring hotels.

Very bad experience. Ill mannered staff. They don't respond at all on top of it they turn the phone off in the night so in case of emergency you literally have to search the whole hotel for help. The rooms are very unhygienic too. There were blood stains on the curtains and the bedsheet and pillow covers were dirty too. They didn't even change them on our request. Foul smell was coming from the cupboards too. Geysers were turned off in the night. Very bad experience.

Excellent service. Very decent rooms and service was also great. Rate is also very reasonable. Hotel staff is very polite and well behaved at reception. I came here with my family for 2 nights. Felt very safe and secured here. we will visit again

Our stay at RC Residency was very comfortable& that was bcoz of the staff, they made us feel like VIP's. The staff at every level was very well behaved, cooperative & soft spoken. The food was delicious & spl 5 stars to the room cleanliness & arrangements.We are grateful to the staff for making our stay cosy & pleasant 🙂. Strongly recommended if planning to visit Mcleodganj

Worst experience ever with any hotel. We booked 6 rooms in the hotel. Neither TVs of any room was working, nor wifi. Gieser of only 1 room was in working condition. Staff was so rude that they have not changed the bedsheet and blanket even after several phone requests. Also food quality was very bad and have not provided rice when asked. Vwey Bad experience. Will not visit again ever..

Amazing property! Lush green, neat and clean rooms, beautiful river view, very humble and cooperative Staff. speechless about the food. Loved every meal.. specially food. My family is super happy. Will visit again very soon
