Rakus Place Hotel

It was a nice stay. GM Mr. Vijay is a true gentlemen and very accommodating to guests' demand. The hotel has very nice view from the front view room and a good bet for budget stay. A little word of cation, it is better to book with hotel directly, other than third party.

Booked this OYO Premium hotel while on a visit to Mcloed. I'm a frequently traveller and this by far was the worst experience ive had in a while.||To start with let me share a few points:||- The bedsheets were dirty when room keys were handed over post checkin.||- In the month of Dec18 with icy cold temperatures, we didnt get hot water on the check out day as there was no electricity in the hotel and these guys didnt have power backup||- Tea and coffee ordered was served in cups insted of ketlles which meant they were cold.||- Extremely uncourteous hotel staff||- Post reaching bhagsunag its another 500meters up a very steep slope which people other than youngsters would have to play errands trekking upto. Not recommend at all. ||- We got some food from outside considering the preparation standards they had and were denied being served 4 plates in the 2 rooms we had||- No complaint register was given even despite repititive requests.||||This hotel would dig a hole in your pocket for its price and doesn't provide even an ounce of satisfactory guest experience. Hardly can i recall any positive memory.||||The hotel is well built and well furnished which is the reason for it being an expensive one but trust me with the maintenance standards now there its a total lost cause anyone would gamble for.

We booked one room with breakfast and dinner for two days. Room was spacious with some basic amenities. The worst part is their breakfast and dinner. While booking it is nowhere written that breakfast and dinner is not a buffet. The hotel staff told us that in breakfast u have to choose from Paratha, sandwich and omelette and that is only one item and only once that means u can't have more than one. At dinner also they said u will get fixed veg thali with one dal and sabzi and rice chapati. First we ordered one thali and to our surprise the Dal was like an old one and not eatable at all. So I request them to give me a non veg snack instead of my dinner thali for which they charge extra. Next day also we did the same and got one snack by paying extra.||MMT should take care of that and clearly specify in the booking that what will be offered in the booking.||We feel like we're cheated.

Raku's place is a very good place. There is a nice vibe and the music there is so relaxing and beautiful. The waiters are really nice and the food is so good. I would go there almost everyday during my stay, they make very nice salads and omelettes and also very tasty cakes. The Cafe and tea is also very good.

If you like or wanna Try Israely food, this is the place. You might not like the authentic food of this place. But the Live Music & the positive energy of this place can Mesmerize you. Try Drinks, Shakes or Cakes. Clean & Hygienic. Calm & Relaxing Ambience until Live Music starts.

Hotel is very good, rooms are clean hotel staff is very courteous. Complementary breakfast was fine apart from that we are not sure about the food cause we didn’t anything I would definitely recommend this hotel for a nice and peaceful stay in hotel however if you wanna get the nice view mountains try to get the room on the top floor.A special thanks to Kaku who’s the receptionist and in charge.

Very bad experience for this hotel or oyo room. I have booked 3 rooms for my family. Added all the members like 7 adults and 3kids. First of all it is located at so much height u got exhausted while going there. Secondly i go there they told me no extra bed will be provided as we are not providing beds to kid. I was really shocked after listening this. Then they told me no breakfast for kids. These things are really basics as i paid for every child also. Then they added dinner to my plan then they ask me to cancel my yourself with oyo. They cant even help. I would suggest to please plan accordingly. Worst experience ever.

Good hotel located in the heart of Bhagsunag. Bhagsunag waterfall is 1.5km away from the hotel while mcleodganj market is 1.5km and trund trekking checkpost is. About 5 km. The room is big enough with all modern facilities. Price were too affordable if booked before 15 days of check in.
