LA Riqueza Koala Inn

I spent three nights. The rooms are very nice: new electric appliances (AC,fridge), very nice modern bathroom, the room is very practical with a lot of storage space and also beautiful as it is all made of dark wood. And this big window to let in the light. It's not in the center of McLeod which is quieter and only a few steps away from restaurants in a quieter part of town. I enjoyed my stay. I had one meal there which was delicious. And the staff is kind and good service.

After conducting research, I selected Koala INN. I was highly impressed with its clean and comfortable rooms and additional facilities. I highly recommend it. The secure and safe environment of this hotel will always have my heart. I have recommended that others visit Koala Inn once, and I can assure you that they will never regret it. Absolutely liked everything about this hotel. From delicious dining options to cozy rooms with stunning views and peace, everything exceeded my expectations. The staff at the Hotel were fantastic. Great attitude. Helpful and always available.

A great scenic stay option. Would highly recommend. Very friendly & helping staff, great services, very clean and aesthetic rooms. Location is perfect as well. Everything is conveniently close. Vibes are immaculate, very calm and relaxing. Hearty thanks to the hotel and staff.

It's is a budget friendly hotel. Room and washroom were clean and well kept. Breakfast was as per the expectations. Taxi services provided by the hotel was good, our driver - Mr. Rajinder was very nice and polite. Mr. Avinesh and Mr. Deepak were always approachable over phone. There were few key challenges we faced. Mattress was very uncomfortable, difficult to have a sound sleep after long day trekking. No intercom to reach out the reception people. While walking back to hotel from Mall Road area, the approach road was a bit risky to walk in late evening because of too many stray dogs. Overall the stay was very good.

We had an amazing experience at Koala Inn. Avinash and his team were incredibly kind and gave us personal attention throughout our stay. The food was delicious, and the views from the balcony were absolutely magnificent. I was initially a bit concerned after seeing a comment mentioning that the hotel was under construction, but upon arriving, I found it to be fully developed. This made me question the accuracy of that review. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and I highly recommend Koala Inn to anyone looking for a great experience.

I had an amazing stay at Koala Inn! The owner was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The staff were equally exceptional—friendly, professional, and always ready to assist. The service was top-notch, and they really made me feel at home. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities you could ask for. I also loved the location, which made it easy to explore the area. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend this hotel. I’ll definitely be back!

Pros: -Great price -Within walking distance of the centre of McLeod Ganj yet removed enough for it to be quiet and peaceful -Nice balcony with view -Relatively clean -Hot water -Rooftop area Cons: -Staff asked repeatedly for me to leave a five star review -Laundry cost me about double what it would in Australia -Mattress was heavily depressed -The manager came into my room to try and convince me to pay for a six hour taxi to my next destination. It is so not ok to enter a guest's room. Also, beware of the stray dogs, not the hotel's fault but I got nipped and had to take the relevant precautions.

First on booking they will say they will provide different room but when you reach hotel they say we dont have offered room now you need to get other room , second nothing to eat in breakfast only sandwich and aloo puri with tea and milk nothing else , third you it take almost 2 hours to provide you dinner after your order they don't take any other order like you ask tea or coffee or something else by saying they already have lots of order to full fill and kitchen will close at 11 pm . fourth they take your full amount when you checked so you dont have other option except staying there. Simple and straight recommendation don't choose this hotel it will spoil your whole vacation of mclodganj
