Himtrek Stays Mcleodganj

I recently stayed in these camps, and it was by far the worst experience I've ever had. The food quality was extremely poor, barely edible, and far from what one would expect from even a budget accommodation. The tents were in a terrible state—unclean, damaged, and uncomfortable to stay in. The washrooms were a disaster. They were shared by everyone, dirty, and clearly not maintained. Hygiene was completely ignored, making it an unpleasant experience for all guests. The staff behavior was the most appalling aspect of the stay. A group of more than ten people, aged between 17 to 27, were roaming around aimlessly, acting like they owned the place. At night, they indulged in heavy drinking, and their behavior became utterly nonsensical. They harassed us, picked fights, and then had the audacity to tell us to vacate the tents immediately. This is the most unprofessional and disrespectful hospitality service I have ever encountered. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel and its camps at all costs. It’s not worth a single penny and is a complete nightmare for anyone seeking a peaceful and decent stay.

Loved the experience, views and trekking. The hosts and staff were friendly and caring. Budget friendly stay. Rooms and common bathroom were clean and well maintained. The food was delicious. Amazing place to spend your days in the vicinity of mother nature. Must visit place 🙏

We stayed in a dormitory for 5 nights, their dorms are cozy and quiet. The views from here is stunning. Host are incredibly welcome , i really appreciated the bonfire seson in the evening. Very well connected to the road, also they have huge parking

I went on triund trek on Saturday accompanied with our guide Roshan who was super super amazing and i found myself really lucky to have him as my guide….without him the trek won’t be possible for me. The staff was also very polite and helpful.The food was also good.The stay was comfortable and location was outstanding. Overall great experience.

I did the Triund Trek with Vishal, who was one of the best guides I've ever had. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. The trek itself was stunning, but it was the group and the guide that made the experience truly special. I’d love to go on more treks with Himtrek.

The Himtrek Stays is located at a very beautiful location, the best part about it is that even after being so well connected from nature, it's not very far away from the mai market. The people here are very friendly and they have a really good service. The food that you can have here can very easily remind you of the food that you have at home, it's delicious and healthy. I would definitely come to stay here again when I come back to Dharamshala.

I regret choosing this place for a stay. The food was inedible, and the tents were in such poor condition that we couldn't sleep comfortably. The common washrooms were filthy and reeked. The staff were a group of young, unruly boys who drank heavily at night and caused trouble. They even tried to fight with guests and forcefully asked us to leave. It was a horrifying experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
