Hotel O Country Lodge

Surprisingly clean rooms and washrooms for the budget as compared to other OYO hotel during my stay. Had all basic facilities and parking space. Reasonably priced for the offerings. Booked for a transit stay of 5 hrs. Don’t expect meals during the day. Good Mountain view from the window and balcony on the first floor.

I have stayed at Country Lodge for 10 days. It is a very clean, medium size hotel with a home feeling and fully functional rooms. Very quiet, and safe environment as it is in a residential area away from traffic. Very reasonable price as well. Managers are very friendly and helpful. Thank you again. Hans Raj bhai is too sweet and polite to refuse for anything. Lovely couple. Very peaceful location.

Worst experience.... There was no water in the washrooms. After waiting for one hour, they shifted us to another room. Which was again very small and dirty. The bedsheets and quilts were dirty. Very poor room service.. Not recommended at all....

Overall its a nice to stay but the washroom pose a problem here. The washrooms are not nicely managed and are unclean. The rooms are kept fairly well. The food is freshly home cooked and tasty. People are warm and helpful too. The prices are economical. I stayed in the dormitory which is really nice and cosy. The washroom is located separately for the dormitory and has no provision of hot water during the cold. However, the helpers were kind enough to let me use the washroom of one of the rooms with attached geysers. If you are not too fussy about the condition of the washroom then you can stay here.

The rooms are good, clean but no AC and TV not working. The beds are big. The location is a very big negative. The service provided is very good from Hamsa. In summary, its a decent budget hotel provided you have a vehicle.

Hi Guys, i would like to recommend Oyo country lodge for those who are visiting dharamshala for trekking and visiting etc. Location is approx 10-15 mins from dharamshala busta d. Rooms are nice, spacious, location is good, food served was okay, behaviour of staff specially Mr. Hansraj is very nice. Very nice behaviour, cooperated with us. Allowed early check-in and late check-out with minimal charges and adjusted with our schedule since we had to trek and come back. Budgeted hotel and safe. Those who are looking for lavish facilities can skip Family place.

Basic, budget, hygienic and a home to every guest. Always brilliant and my only and favourite place to stay in Dharamshala.. will recommend this place to anyone... Away from the hustle and bustle of the town..peaceful overlooking the Dhauladar range .. definitely worth staying.. the highlight is the home-made meals and the conversations with Joginder uncle and the team over a nice hot cup of ginger tea..
