Hotel Dhauladhar (HPTDC)

I visited the restaurant just half an hour before for dinner with family. But no one of the staff even bother to provide even menu on the table for more than 30 minutes. I feel so humiliated and ashamed as I was with my family .Management and govt. should take serious note and action against all of staff .Now I'm at a private restaurant and totally satisfied with the service. That's the reason govt. ventures are sinking day by day.

Located in Main Dharamsala market. Easily accessible from the Dharamsala bus stand. The rooms are clean. The food and service is good. Parking available. View from restaurant is great.

Visited the restuarant and bar segment only. Loved the outdoor seating arrangements and the food and drinks were proper. Great to sit for a peaceful ambience with a view of the mountains and a beer in your hand.

Indeed a very good Government hotel. The food quality as well taste is good. Staying was very pleasant, rooms very spacious and all ameneties were perfect. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall very good place for family. Only one minus point no elevators,. The Government should install one,too necessary for senior citizens as well differently abled person.

Hotel is strategically located in middle of town but sorrounded by buildings thus blocks the beautiful view of dhauladhar mountain range. Staff is very hospitable but the building is ageing and rooms are cossy but furnished with old furniture. Rooms are very much like govt guest house or military mess. Hotel rooms are highly priced as compared to other Places in city.

I went to the restaurant. This has to be the worst of all tourism hotels, so much so that government should close this branch. Food was old preparation tasted like sand, I always prefer tourism hotels and they are usuallly never disappointing when it comes to food, but this was a strong exception. One of us threw up after having their food, so if you love your health never eat food here. Location is good, but what a waste of space. See the condition of menu, dirty seats, and food is just the icing on cake.

I saw people are saying nasty things and judging this place with their physical vital mind... HPTDC hotels are good places to stay in himachal pardesh.. people are friendly Rooms are spacious wooden floors Garden terrace and beautiful scenery to view in the morning... It is heavenly place... I give them five star ratings..
