My two-day stay at Piti Jalsa in Kaza was a mixed bag. On the positive side, I loved the traditional Himachali aesthetic of the mud wall and wooden-roofed rooms with all basic amenities. The biggest asset, however, was the owner, Mr. Karan, who was very much sincere and helpful. My main concerns were the location and the service. The approach to the property gave a poor impression. Regarding service and maintenance, it seemed Mr. Karan is still struggling with inadequate and unskilled staff. I sincerely hope he will be able to improve things particularly on service area sooner than later. A crucial tip: if you're carrying heavy luggage (which is common due to the cold weather) and / or accompanied with elderly persons, be sure to contact the owner in advance to avoid any inconvenience. Don't come with very high expectations.

Had an amazing stay at Piti jalsa, the rooms are so spacious, clean and cozy. thing that took my heart is washroom heater’s,Jaskaran sir the great host making it so easy living in -25 degrees.

I stayed here in winter best place to stay in Kaza. View from room is amazing and food too. Got electric blanket and hot water for shower. Property highly recommend.

We stayed here in June-24; the road to Kaza is full of adventure and uncertanities but it’s worth to go for once. Remember to go in good vehicle (preferably 4x4) and in group.|Our stay at Kaza at this place was really nice, rooms & bathroom were big and linen were neat n clean. Food was really amazing.|It is worth to mention Mr Jaskaran (owner) of this place coz he will do his bestest to make your stay comfortable.|There is lot of power cut so be ready with your set of power bank.

Extremely Disappointing Experience I had an extremely unpleasant stay at this hotel. The owner was very rude and unaccommodating. They have a strict policy against having tea in the room, with the excuse being that guests might spill it on the bed. The meal times were also very inconvenient. Dinner had to be eaten by 9:30 PM and breakfast by 8:30 AM, otherwise, no food would be provided. The hotel's location is another major downside. The road leading to the hotel is in terrible condition. You have to cross stinking drains and navigate through narrow alleys filled with stray dogs that bark at you. Parking is a nightmare. Your vehicle has to be left in a truck parking area about 200 meters away from the hotel. If you need to leave early, you have to carry your belongings to your car yourself as no staff is available before 7:30 or 8 AM. Overall, the owner's confrontational attitude and lack of helpfulness made the stay even worse. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
