Hotel Vikrant

I had an amazing stay here! The room and bathroom was clean with lots of space and outdoor seating, the location is great, and Vikrant was sooo helpful! I got stuck in Kullu when the highway collapsed, and he went out of his way to help me with everything I needed. It was a really nice stay and I appreciate the hospitality! If I go back to Kullu I'm going back to this hotel.

Very bad place. Very dirty. Washroom were dirty. The place felt very unsafe as well. The price they charge is so high and yet the amenities are nothing. It seemed like a very shady place. Rooms were so old and dirty. The bedsheets were also not fresh.

This place is disgusting. It was only 700 rupees for the night, but it was worth about 200. The carpet looked like it was 20 years old & never been vacuumed. The sheets & covers were supposed to be white, but they had a dingy grey to them. The bathroom....so gross it was unspeakable. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. But do yourself a favor...drive up to Manali and find better accommodations there.

I had thought to stay only 2 nights in Kullu, but extended it day by day - up to 12 days! I liked the room, the situation in town and especially one of the best staffs I have had ever! First 2 dinners I had in a nearby restaurant, where I could have beer, too. In the town there are only 2 restaurants serving beer! But then Vikram told me, that they can buy for me beer from a shop! After that I had every evening very good dinner – cooked by Vikram. There I had also some people to talk with! After the restaurant was closed in the evening, we usually spent 1-2 hours on terrace talking together – Vikram, Vitali and me.||||Just think about the price you pay, don’t wait 5 star hotel amenities from a cheap hotel! Visited kullu during the Festival, took the recommendation from lonly planet. After paying too much for a simple room (1200 rupi) and told us that we got a "delux" room. We understood they just raised the prices up. The stuff is not nice. The room is OK. More than anything we felt that the manager was angry and unpatient. Not recommended.

We got to the place due to the lonely plant recomandation, the owner saw us and the prices doubled...||The room was dirty ( toilet with the remains of former guests..) loads of moskitous and insekts. We awere its not the cleanest area but for the price they charge you would excpect to at list get a clean room. The only one good thing we can say about the owner is that after showing him the price writen on the book guide he did give us a 50rp discount.

We were on a visit to Rohtang pass. So initially we enquired our taxi driver about the hotels at kullu and he suggested us Hotel Vikrant. Like wise this hotel is situated in the interior of kullu more than on the highway. So by seeing the ambience of the hotel from outside i thought it would just serve the needs just to get refresh but when we have taken the rooms, the lookup of the rooms was very gud and the staff were also friendly. If one is looking for a budget hotel who want to visit manali and ROhtang pass then i would suggest Hotel Vikrant as the cost of hotels at manali are some what high (at peak season). There is phone booking service of rooms for this hotel.

We were 2 couple had chance to stayed 2 days in this hotel .not only me but my wife, friend,his wife n my driver we all appreciate this hotel for its price,service,freindly staffs n its location..it offer true value for money..the room rent start 400-1200.which is cheapest in comparision to similar hotel in kullu.hotel manager vikram is nice guy who knows how to serve its customer best..I would recommend everyone who look for budget hotel in kullu..
