Hotel O Starwood

I booked this hotel through OYO, but the room was different from the images shown on the app. There was no network connectivity inside the room, and the location was awful, surrounded by meat shops emitting a foul smell. Couldn't stay. I recommend considering other options.

Recently I had an unwanted experience of staying at Flagship Hotel Starwood in Jammu. The guy at reception refused to drop luggage in the room, he demanded extra money for the same. As there is no lift, I had to pay extra money to get my luggage in room from the reception area. Secondly, rooms are not cleaned properly. Hotel staff didn't even consider to clean toilet after use by previous guest. Bunch of hair, used cigarettes etc. can be clearly seen in washroom. So many dark spots was there on bedsheet, looks like neither replaced nor washed even after multiple use. Blanket was not good & dusty. Air conditioner was available but sealed to avoid any use by guest probably. Stay was not worthy of the price I paid.

Today I had the unfortunate experience of staying at Hotel Starwood in Jammu, and I must say it was one of the worst hotels I have ever encountered. I feel compelled to share my experience to prevent others from going through the same ordeal. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the hotel was appalling. The room was dirty and had an unpleasant smell that lingered throughout my stay. But the worst part was the condition of the toilet. It was evident that the hotel staff had not bothered to clean it after the previous guest, as there was excrement on the toilet seat. This was absolutely unacceptable and a clear indication of the hotel's lack of hygiene standards. To add to the disappointment, there was no hot water available during my entire stay. Taking a shower in cold water was extremely inconvenient and uncomfortable. Even basic amenities like an AC or cooler were missing, making the room unbearably hot and uncomfortable. I was truly shocked that after paying 1000 INR, I received such a substandard experience. I honestly believe that a Dharmshala (a basic guesthouse) would have provided better accommodations and facilities. I urge Google Maps to seriously consider removing Hotel Starwood from their platform. Guests deserve better options that meet minimum standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and basic amenities. I hope that my feedback helps other travelers make informed decisions and avoid the disappointment I faced during my stay. Overall, my experience at Hotel Starwood was extremely unsatisfactory, and I strongly advise against booking a stay there.

One of the worst places I have stayed in. I had booked a room for 600 through OYO and they denied entry and cancelled my reservation. I ended up paying 1400 (800 more) to get a room. Their service was so bad they made me wait atleast 2 hours before giving a room. They dint even provide water to drink. There was no hot water in the washroom. The condition of the washrooms were so pathetic infested with insects. The rooms were not well maintained. Don't stay in this place and never ever use OYO to book this place.

Excellent location with beautiful night view of tawi river . Rooms are good quality. Staff is very cooperative and hygiene is of excellent quality with time to time cleaning service being offered. Overall it a nice place in an excellent budget booking.

After providing my honest feedback because of my worst experience in stay .. hotel honour called me and asked me to go somewhere else talking rude and said revise your comments . When I visited i didn't get any service no AC in room and due to online booking he asked me for more money for AC room when I refused to pay extra he said not available , no water supply, no cleaning bedsheet bathroom pillow bed everything was unhygienic. Smelly room . After asking may times they provide me only soap , even nothing I get in my room. Immediately after spending 3 hr in room ,i checked out because it was worst service ever. For shower nothing in bathroom. no AC no tv no water for shower , no drinking water. Unhygienic hotel and now honour rudely talked with me and said go to redission hotel through a call in a taunt way. Non stop making me down because I provided honest review about hotel.i would suggest don't go and don't book this type of hotels. Service and people both worst. Zero rating from my end. #OYO worst experience and flagship Starwood hotel service is worst 👎 I would suggest OYO kindly take care of customer concern seriously we booked hotel on the faith after discussing with OYO staff but when we visited hotel staff always says OYO making people fool .we can't help you and not providing services. Then how can I rely ? Kindly upgrade it be honest with customers.

Good place to stay. If u r visiting jammu and looking for hygiene and low budget then must visit flagship hotel starwood. I will visit again definitely
