Shashipa Hotel

Staying at Shashipa Guest House was such a heartwarming experience, it truly felt like a home away from home. The space itself is more like a cozy Airbnb, but what makes it special is the beautiful family that runs it. They’re some of the kindest, warmest people I’ve ever met, so loving and attentive that you can’t help but feel cared for. The rooms are spotless, extremely well-kept, and full of thoughtful little touches. It’s also located right in the heart of the city, so getting around is super easy and convenient. It’s rare to find a place that blends comfort, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality so effortlessly. I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming stay.

Stayed here for two nights before, and one night after, an eight day motorcycle trip through Ladakh. We loved this place. Great food, hospitality, and the host family was as kind and gracious as I could have hoped for. A brand new space but they area really making is a great spot. A little outside of town so it's got a little less bustle but only a 10-15 minute walk from the market and only 5 minutes from a small market for snacks, etc. If I home back, this is my home base.

I enjoyed stay here along with my friends, Location was quiet and wonder-view. Hyginic food was served with good hospitality.

This place is run by an old couple supported by their kids. Rooms are maintained clean. Bathroom has geyser hence we got 24hrs of hot water. Hot water to drink was given to us in a flask at all times. Home cooked breakfast provided with hot cup of tea/ coffee.We were taken care like we were a part of their family. While the guesthouse provides wifi we couldnt avail it as at that time BSNL internet services had been cut by the govt in that region.

One of the best guesthouse in leh area. Comfortable rooms and very warm hosts . Loved the vibe here. Totally recommended!!!
