Hotel Paradise and Restaurant

This is “The Best Spot” if you want to savor local Kashmiri cuisine in Pahalgham. Truly authentic and delicious. The staff, in my opinion, the best you can find in whole of Kashmir. Highly recommended this place. You will thank me later.

The food was delicious and amazing quality. Extremely good Mazza chicken and Lacha paratha. Must try the Gashtoba and the Kashmiri Biryani, and the seekh Khebab. The only problem was the cleanliness. Table was cracked and the utensils were dirty. The washroom was disgusting and the door doesn’t close. But the attitude of the workers was amazing. This place is a must to come for a meal.

💥If ur looking for a hotel with the best view and within the market area its the perfect choice for you. ❌️ Being just on the road and market area its very noisy and its irritating at night when you are trying to sleep and people are shouting outside or dogs are barking continuously . 1. Location is perfect 2. Rooms are specious and includes all the amenities. 3. Bit overpriced but worth. 4. Food is popular in this hotel's restaurant as many people visited and was crowded but the smell of lamb or something was so overwhelming that we didn't dare try the restaurant. 5. Room service was good . 6. Each time power cut happens they immediately turn the inverter on and thats really a big relief.

I recently visited their restaurant, eager to try the Wazwan, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I’ve heard great things about Kashmiri cuisine, but this was not it. First off, they served us cold rice. When I requested it to be reheated, they just brought out a new bowl, which made me feel guilty about wasting food. The sides included chicken tikka, seekh kebab, and fried ribs. The kebabs and tikka were average at best, but the ribs were a mess. They were drenched in oil, and one piece was mostly overcooked fat. For the curries, we tried Mutton Rista, Rogan Josh, and Mutton Yakhni. The Mutton Rista was incredibly tough, resembling leather rather than tender goat meat. The Rogan Josh had a massive piece of meat that was larger than my palm (and I have big hands), making it impossible to cut with regular cutlery. We had to ask the staff to chop it for us. The only redeeming dish was the Mutton Yakhni, which was tender and flavorful, with a lovely gravy reminiscent of hung curd and black pepper. The service was lackluster; the staff appeared tired and uninterested, as if they were exhausted from dealing with tourists. Lastly, the entire restaurant had a musty smell, similar to rotten leather, and sadly, we left smelling the same. Overall, it was a regrettable experience, and I sincerely hope this isn’t a true representation of Kashmiri cuisine.

Food is good … but the service is poor… the waiters don’t really care since the restaurant gets lots of customers so they know they are not losing anything. Can try once while in pahalgam 👍

Food was really good here but the servers are not addressing customers properly. We had to ask for same thing three or four times to get it. The dining area is not properly air conditioned though and table are too crowded.

Pathetic restaurant experience. Poor quality of service. Arrogant waiters and poor food quality. Most of the items in the menu are not available. Avoid visiting this restaurant especially non locals. Food quality of punjabi vaishno dhaba is much much better than this restaurant.

We went there for lunch. We ordered mutton rogan josh, naan, garlic chicken and fried rice. Everything was good but one thing you can't miss is their mutton rogan. It was the best one, I had on my Kashmir trip. Must try for all mutton lovers
