Bareen Resort

The rooms are good, heating blowers and electric blankets were provided in each room. The view from our room window and balcony was awesome. Food options are limited but the food which we ordered was good. The hotel staff was very friendly. There was an issue with hot water availability,but overall the stay was nice.

Rooms were good and spacious Beds were comfortable and cozy However location of the hotel is quite far from the lake view but from balcony you can have a look on the mountains Staff is very humble Food is so delicious ! The best food I had in 5 days of trip is here only , the authentic and flavourful food.

I visited with my wife and kids in October. It is managed by a single person who is the receptionist, waiter, cook and cleaner. Understandably he is so over worked and busy that he couldn't serve anything on time. Infact he couldn't manage simple requests like warm water which was essential in freezing cold. Nor could he provide clean bed sheets and blankets. On top of that, they didn't have any stock of essentials like mineral water, eggs, and anything me and my family needed. The dinner too was late and the man got angry when I pointed out the shortcomings. He started throwing tantrums and behaved rudely with us throughout. The place is pathetic unless you are a lone traveller out there to test your survival skills.

Owner was very helpful and polite, he arranged our entire trip. The food was very good both veg and non veg. There was a bonfire also. The beds were having heating bedsheets which made our stay comfortable.

Our stay has been very comfortable the owner was very polite and helpful. He has even offered us his own vehicle to go around so that we can save some extra bucks. The food was amazing both veg and non-veg. Highly recommend for all ages.

First of all we have booked the hotel based on the ‘ all positive’ reviews . But …. 1. The location shown is totally absurd and it’s around 15 km away from the google,s location. 2. First they have shown the ground floor room next to reception and it felt ok in the first look. But… -there were no room heater but only bed heater was there - the blankets smelled very badly - the bedspread was with stingy cigarette smell - no table - no chair -no drinking water or nothing of that kind - there was heavy noise and shouting from nearby kitchen and we were unable to sleep … when complained, they gave one room on first floor. But… 3 the buckets in the washroom was filled with dirty water 3 cut provided for exhaust fan was left open and cold air at 2 degrees were rushing inside … one person in the reception behaved politely but the other person was very rude Unfortunately the stay at this hotel was the only worst experience in our ‘most beautiful’ Kashmir trip. I really doubt the authenticity of the five star reviews

I was travelling with Elderly Mother & 3 yrs old kid.Bareen resort staff specially Mr.Mohsin bestowed the exequisite hospitality I never ever experienced before. Many thanks to All the staffs of Bareen resort, for the homely experience,Ambience & the tasty food. Recommended to all the tourist

I visited this resort with my family in April end. There was no facility of hot water in a temperature like 8 degree. Even We could not wash our face after travelling from Katra. Dining facilities was also not upto mark. They provided below average service to us.
