I booked the three rooms (1 executive and 2 deluxe) for my family after going through the reviews. My experience with the hotel and the staff was pathetic as it was bad weather and long power cuts, the Hotel Green Orchid does not have full power back up especially for heaters and geysers. Hotel provided us additional heaters only after requesting many times and irony was that these heaters could run on power back up, however, the hotel kept on switching off the power back up for every 2 hours which made it worst and let our family and my infant suffer in cold weather. The hotel staff stated that the back up needed to be kept on rest after every 3 hours during long power cuts. It also felt like the hotel was short of diesel to have the power back up continued for longer time. My recommendation is not to choose to stay with Hotel Green Orchid in cold weather, they have poor facilities during long power cuts that let customers suffer in cold weather.

The rooms are big, but every room has only a percolator no tea or coffee. Water is not given only if asked would be served. The WiFi is not very good, it only works well at the reception area, in the rooms the WIFI may or may not work. Bedsheets n towels are not cleen, it may have been white when they started the hotel but they need to be replaced right away. The rooms with balcony view is good but the other rooms face the wall. It's best to get your own coldrinks as they serve it by the glass at the hotel even after trying to explain to them that the coldrinks come from a bottle so we would like to buy the bottle they kept refusing to sell us the bottle and gave us by the glass. Food is OK but no much choice. Booked 5 rooms in all but only 1 room had a electric heating mattress. The other room have heaters for the room but don't work very well. The tea n coffee is not at all to the mark when ordered to the rooms. Had tasted all the non veg dishes and were good. The good thing is it is close to the rope car. There is a dhabha close by walking up the mountain from the hotel which serves amazing Parathas for morning breakfast and lunch is good too. Do not go by the looks of the Dhabha the food is tasty. The Dhabha is besides the liquor shop.

No good standard for international tourists. The house looks nice from far away but it is in pretty bad condition when you get closer. The rooms are not as in the pictures and not as advertised on the website. WiFi works good and there is hot water. However, bathroom is really not clean and there is only a bucket shower. We are not sure about the cleanliness of the bed. No white sheets, but mixed pattern, so you can’t see dirt really well. The view from the balcony is nice. We ordered dinner and it was ok. Not the best, but ok. Location is good, but not where Google Maps shows it. We only found it driving by. Also the staff first asked the double price from us. When we wanted to leave he offered much lower price. So also not really honest.

Overall my experience was very good . Hotel rooms were neat and clean. Also The view was amazing . Staff and food was also very great. I would love to visit again . Restaurant had very amazing view .

The hotel was fantastic very beautiful rooms with a beautiful outside views.the restaurant was also very well decorated. Staff was very friendly and cooperative. Food was also very tasty .there butter chicken and garlic naan was awesome|

We are happy with staff behaviour and good,quick service for breakfast.but some things need to improve.bathroom tiles dirty .buquet are broken.towels need to replace.blankets are not covered. It should be white or grey .bedsheet also should plain color.but overall i will give 3nmbrs out of 5 Hotel Price are reasonable.

Beautiful place bit crowded but itw Ok for a change.Prior booking is better. It's cold in the night. Must stay for 2 to 3 days. Very picturesque. The best sweats cab be brought from Prem sweats at Kud.
