Hotel Mount View

Stayed here just 4 days back at Sonmarg. The staff here is very cooperative. We planned to celebrate One of my friend's birthday and the hotel staff / manager was requested to arrange cake. And they were so kind and despite other facilities might have closed, by 11 pm they arranged a nice cake. We were so overwhelmed. Food is good, view is pleasant, rooms are good with good view. I wish good luck to all staff here and thank you again.

Beautiful location. Hotel is sorrounded by snow capped mountains and provides some amazing views. Service is good and staff is helpful. Rooms are big and offer beds with heater. Food is excellent.

Very good place with cozy and warmer rooms! Warm water is available twice a day. Perfectly located at the point from where the pony riders start their excursion to the Thajiwas Glacier. Even the taxi stand is nearby. Food is delicious and so are the snacks. The only problem is the restaurant is too small to accommodate the large number of guests. The wait time is too much during the breakfast and dinner hours. It would be nice if the hotel could expand the capacity of the restaurant. But the place is really good and I would strongly recommend it to the visitors. The staff is sincere and hard working.

Three of us (family) stayed in this hotel for a few days. The location is stunning, and the rooms had great views. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

This property is located in a prime location and easy access to Thajwas entry. This hotel got all basic requirements, Rooms were cozy too. However bedsheets and wash rooms were not clean enough. We had to fight 20-30 mins to explain and demand them to clean rather change to diff rooms. We had to request for blowers since no heater arrangements in place. Hot water availability was limited.(better to check the time with front desk) Kettles were not there in rooms. Food was average, could be improved majorly. Not much worth for the money paid.

The hotel has a fabulous view located very near to thajiwas entry. Staff is very friendly and supportive. Food is great. Rooms were clean with central heater on till 10pm and electric bed heater 24hrs.Worth the value.

Hotel has a lovely view. Luckily during our stay it was snowing and we enjoyed the snow at night with -1 degrees C. When we were given the rooms, it was dirty especially the wash rooms were not cleaned. It was obvious that they haven’t cleaned since the last guests left although the sanitizer sticker was kept which was funny. It was disgusting when we opened the commode 😦😡. We had to get the sheets also changed and ultimately get the rooms shifted. One of the rooms there was a leakage from the roof which was leaking right through the TV which we had to inform and get them to remove the TV. the rest of the stay was ok
