Hotel sonamarg palace

A hotel with basic amenities, situated next to the Sind River, is suitable for a 1- or 2-day stopover. It’s a 5-minute walk from River Bunk, and you’ll find horse riding facilities for local sightseeing just outside the hotel. From your room, you can enjoy views of the beautiful peaks and the river flowing. All basic amenities are provided, including hot water and soap in the bathrooms. However, if you’re looking for a 3-star property, this is not one by any means. Also, note that this is a pure vegetarian hotel. The staff provides exceptional service. Overall, the staff is very helpful, polite, and well-behaved, which is the best part of this hotel. Budget friendly hotel at a great location just off the mall road. The room was okay with all basic amenities. Stayed here for 1 day while exploring Kashmir.

Sonmarg Palace is not just a hotel but a special memory in my heart. To begin with, Mr Ejaz was accommodating with our requests before the booking process that we ended up visiting Sonmarg as we got a very positive and welcoming vibe around him. We ended up extending our stay even due to his staff excellent hospitality. The location is perfect, just where Thajiwas glacier begins. If you have the room at the back, you’ll be treated to the view and sound of the Sindh river flowing. Will try to attach a video. In winters the front of the hotel will treat your eyes to the snow capped mountains I was told. Food was exceptional! We tried new dishes everyday with a wide spread and every dish was exceptional. Every dish. Ended up binging! What can I say about the staff. They are so polite, extremely service oriented and quick. I was stunned. All in all, Sonmarg Palace was cozy and comfy. Do not expect luxury but you will definitely get more than your moneys worth, especially the memories you leave with from here. Also special thanks to the lovely Maharashtrian gentleman who gave us lovely advice and good recommendations.

Hotel sonmarg palace is very nice.Hotel side view is eye catching.Cleanliness is very good.Owner Ajaz bhai is kind and calm.He accommodated our group of 27 very well.

It's just outside Sonamarg point for snow activities but the restaurant is dirty and food tasteless and unhygienic. In reply to Hotel - We came from Kesari Tours in first week of April 2024 for lunch at your restaurant, no overnight stay was there. The food was unhygienic, tasteless and your restaurant filthy. The washrooms were yucky. This review is also shared with Kesari Tours. I never give a fake review.

Good location, but the size of the rooms is very small. With luggage, you will not have any space to stand in the room. The restaurant is decent and offers a nice variety of food. Another negative about the place is common parking just outside the main entrance of the hotel, where all taxi and tempo travellers take up spots, making it extremely difficult to take your own vehicle.
