Hotel Apna Ghar.

Room conditions are not good and also not well maintained, also there are frequent power cuts... The management doesn't seem to be bothered by it at all

Located near Khyber hospital, Khayam Road.... Pretty beautiful ambience at the interior . The rooms were luxurious and furnitures were well arranged and beautifully designed. Though the rooms are a little small in size.... Their staff behavior is very much humble and sweet. .They were very much helpful and understanding...We stayed 4 days at Srinagar and The hotel creates a very homely environment for tourists...❤ A large dining hall and kitchen are there. The even let to use their kitchen and utensils if needed. Washrooms were clean and geyser was provided at every room. The only problem was frequent loadsheddings. But they provided Generator service so it wasn't that much troubling. A number of restaurants are nearby. A pure bengali restaurant is right beside this.... Loved it.❤

First of all, Location mentioned in Google Maps is very WRONG and misleading. It's showing adjacent to Dal lake. But it is inside the city. Near Khyber hospital, khyam chowk. Second, Rooms are not so good, hygiene is bad, no water, no electricity when we went there.

Best quality rooms and service at lowest price in Srinagar. It's recommended for family as well as friends. Also situated in the main area.

We were a family of 7 (5 adults + 2 children) who had an unplanned travel to Katra because of flight cancellations and rerouting to Jammu. The stay in this hotel was not very pleasant. The rooms were dull with low lighting. The sheets and blankets were not very clean. The towels were not kept in room and when I asked for them, there was resistance to providing towels.||The worst part was the night sleep. The hotel is right next to the main road and there was literally no noise reduction between the road and the room. Needless to say, we had sleepless night and the first thing we did in the morning was to change the hotel.||In addition they do not have a restaurant in-house. But they mentioned that they would bring and serve food from their associated restaurant - which we did not use.||One good thing though.. the staff in the hotel were honest and that is very important for a hotel to have. We had forgotten some stuff in the room when we moved out, and it was promptly given to us when we returned for it.

Very good place to stay. Parking is available. Rooms and washrooms are perfect.
