Hotel JH Bazaz

Good stay near Dal Lake. We booked this stay during our trip from Kerala to Kashmir and it was the best decision. These are genuinely good people, therefore we felt safe and happy at this property Breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced. Overall a decent stay. Anyone looking for a good room near Srinagar can blindly book this. I would even say the owner Mr Sarwar was the best person we came to met in Kashmir. Thank you for helping us giving proper information about places. We stayed in October.

Had a great and pleasant stay at Hotel JH Bazaz. Stayed for around a week. Sarwar treated us like a family and made us felt like we are at home. Great food and he will provide anything by going out of the way. Great room service and seriously you dont feel like you are staying at a hotel. Rooms are tidy and clean. 24/7 hot water 💦 as there are individual geysers installed in every room. Also, the staff is also friendly and great in providing every help. There is also a beautiful garden where you can sit and enjoy your tea or meals.

We stayed at this place from the 1st to the 8th of July.We were a group of 12 people. The feeling of staying there was a home away from home. We enjoyed the hospitality and home cooked delicious food. Mr.Sarwar and the boys made their best efforts to see that we were comfortable at all times. We had the warmest welcome and hospitality at Sarwar Bhai's hotel JH Bazaz at Srinagar. Location is top notch! ( 2 mins walking from Ghat no 1 of the Dal Lake) Great value for money room tariff being pretty reasonable given the location. But what we loved the most was the owner's (Mr. Sarwar Bazaz) behaviour and the help he rendered us throughout our trip! Even after checking out from his hotel after the first two days, we called him up everyday for his guidance in the unknown land of Kashmir and he was always happy to help! I would highly recommend JH Bazaz and can vouch for your best stay!!

Here you will definitely have a wonderful stay few steps from the Dal Lake....The host , Javed Bhai is a very amiable & sweet person who will guide you in every way to explore Kashmir. You will enjoy a very delicious home cooked food...

First think that needs to mention i.e. hospitality of Sarwar Bhai ... There is no comparison with anyone such a great person. For him, stay at srinagar became like stay at home. Foods : Sarwar Bhai arranged every meal according to our choice, we pefered less spicy foods, he arranged it. Packed our meal on time. Rooms: we stayed at main building, rooms are very well maintained and clean. Every day cleaning has been done. Washroom was good, high capacity geyser available 24hr hot water. Environment: A small garden was there. Very beautifully organised. We can have a breakfast over there. Morning sunshine make your day. Staffs: Like Sarwar Bhai every staffs are very gentle and polite. Car arrangement: Entire Kashmir trip car has been arranged by him. Very good condition car has been provided. Highly recommend.

Very nice and clean Hotel. We feel just like our home. Owner Sarwar bhai guided us in every step. Food was awesome. Moreover hospitality of Sarwar bhai was great. Nice experience of stay at hotel J H Bazaz. Must stay at hotel J H Bazaz if you are going to Srinagar.

Just 5 mins walking from dal gate. Host and his team are just amazing people. Helped us plan our entire trip. Assisted in helping us travel entire kashmir in shared taxis. Shared details of his fellows for our ease of travel. Room cleaning and room service was best. Being a vegetarian, it was difficult to find good veg food. He prepared homely food for us that was filling as well as light and yummy.
