Hotel Chachoo Palace

Extremely recommended place for a budget stay and safe parking. It's nearby Dal lake and has road connectivity so your own vehicle will be accessible. The rooms were clean and this hotel has a nice sitout to enjoy the view of the dal Lake and have food. Outside food are allowed. You get a nice and hot tea.

We really felt we lucked out with the location of this place and stayed 3 nights. Walking distance to the city centre, old town and boulevard but also quite peaceful with the waterfront property tucked away. Rooms and facilities were good for a budget spot. And I found the staff very pleasant and helpful. Would very much recommend.

Chachoo Palace is truly a hidden gem that we were so glad to find it on booking.com. It is nestled on the quiet corner of Dal lake looking out the boat pier. The room is decent, clean and organized and well maintained by the host family. Breakfast is spot on that we did not bother going out at all. The food is mainly cooked by the Father while his son is managing the place. I would highly recommend Chachoo for any adventurers out there who look for a relaxing stay and importantly it is safe for solo female traveller like me.

Manzoor and the team have a great place! Quiet location on the edge of Dal lake - the jetty for Shikara ride is an added bonus. Room is small but clean and cozy with excellent wifi across the property. Incredibly helpful staff, great breakfast service, highly recommend!

Chachoo palace is nice budget place with peaceful surroundings. Don't expect too many luxuries though. The rooms were near , clean and spacious enough. The view was nice as you get to see the dal backwaters. It's also walkable from the Srinagar city centre. All in all a nice hotel with decent views in budget.

Very affordable and cute place to stay in Kashmir. We were welcomed with the best service. The staff and owners were really helpful and kind. They even allow you to have apples and figs from their compound

Totally enjoyed my 2 nights stay. The staff are all friendly and helpful. They can arrange tours or anything you need. Breakfasts are made to order and tasted great. This is a great value and i would definitely stay here again. The room was comfortable and has hot water. The wifi worked well.

If you want peace of mind then this place is perfect for you! Very clean room and toilet. Staff is very polite and helpful. I stayed for 4 days and it was a wonderful experience.
