Dal Fog Guest House

We visited here in second week of January 2025 and stayed for seven days. The guest house is nice. Rooms are clean. Their hospitality and service is really praiseworthy. Situated very near to Dal Lake, precisely at Dal Lock Gate. Location is good. Their behavior made us very happy. Mr. Juneid, the epicentre of the guest house is a very nice and always a smiling person. His elder brother Mr. Jehangir is a very helpful person. Mr. Amzad was a nice person and always ready to serve the guests. Our stay there was a pleasant experience. Subhasis Dey, Howrah, West Bengal.

Outstanding location, hospitality and the owner Mr junaid,Hez very humble n kind hearted . Surrounding is very safe n pleasant with a beautiful dal lake view Rooms r quiet clean n maintained.Food is fabulous 😍.

The guest house is very close to Dal Gate. Lots of food options nearby. The rooms are a little bit small but clean. Owner Jahangir bhai is also very helpful.

The guest house is superb. The location is impressive. Rooms and bathrooms are better clean but the rooms are little small. In a nutshell, the guest house is ok

Best hotel at reasonable price and location is also best..at dal gate..stayed there from 30 march to 3 april 2025.. hospitality was very good,,also they have all services like bike rent,car rent shikara everything..we walked for only 3 minutes to dal lake ghat no 1 from there..love this stay..if we wanna go again we stay there again..

One of the best place to stay in kashmir near dal Lake Rooms are very clean and upto the mark Staff is very kind & helpful, there available when ever you need any kind of help I book the hotel only for 1 night but I liked there room and service and extended the stay for 4 nights Thank you Dal Fog Guest House team for you best service and making my stay comfortable

From the moment we stepped into our room, it felt like stepping into a dream. The sight of the vast lake embraced by towering mountains greeted us every morning, filling our hearts with joy. Inside, the room was a haven of comfort and beauty, adorned with wooden ceilings, walls, and floors that exuded warmth and charm. Soft carpets welcomed our feet, and the gentle warmth from the table heating enveloped us in cozy comfort, making our stay truly unforgettable. We were pleasantly surprised when the owner provided us with individual slippers for both general use and for the washroom, a thoughtful touch that enhanced our comfort during our stay. Mr. Junaid, the epitome of hospitality, effortlessly resolved any issues we encountered, offering solutions with a smile and ensuring our experience was nothing short of exceptional. Each morning was a delightful start, greeted with a steaming, heartwarming breakfast. And as the sun set, we were embraced by the comforting aroma of saffron-infused kehwa, creating moments of pure warmth and coziness that lingered in our hearts. If you're able to walk, then everything within a one-kilometer radius becomes easily reachable. Despite many suggestions to stay in houseboats, we found this alternative to be safer and more convenient. Here, we had access to everything from ATMs to food options, sightseeing opportunities, and dining, all conveniently located nearby.
