POP 83716 New Heidi Houseboat

Worst boat ever. Nothing is proper. Waste of money. They have charged 12,000/- from me just for 1 night and at mid of the night they turned off electricity saying some reason of electricity cut by government and blaming local government but in other boats, there was electricity and in every boat lights were onn except this waste houseboat. My genuine recommendation to not choose this houseboat as your stay otherwise ur all vacation will be wasted. Will not at all recommend anyone for to stay.

1. Houseboat owner phone was always switched off. Our check in experience was terrible, Shikharas were asking for exorbitant price for ferrying us to the houseboat 2. We were 3 people and only 1 blanket was provided. We had to spend the night sleepless and shivering 3. Even basic toiletries like soap and towel were not provided 4. Stay at this houseboat was not worth a single penny of the price they charged. If you have to stay in houseboat in Dal lake then choose any other houseboat than New heidi houseboat. Overall I felt houseboats in Nigeen Lake provided for a better view than Dal Lake. Even shikharas charged the standard rate in Nigeen Lake whereas Shikhara at Dal Lake were literally robbing tourists.

This place is aesthetic, beautiful, peaceful and offers a wholesome view of the Dal lake. A must visit place to stay if you are planning to visit Kashmir.
