Hotel Dolphin

A good hotel in Udhampur for a decent stay. It is located at the entrance of Udhampur city where some of the malls (Pantaloons, Vishal mega store etc) are located. Rooms are clean and neat, are maintained well. Towels toiletries kettle and coffee/team maker set is kept in the room. Study table, wardrobe, TV, fridge was available. Bathroom was clean with a shower compartment (bigger than cubicle). There are 5 types of rooms available, higher the price spacious rooms. I had taken 203 which is a triple bedded room. Call the hotel directly for a discounted price during off season. Restaurant is good with veg and no veg options. Room service is available. 1st floor has a banquet hall. At the base there is a Nescafé coffee shop with quick bites. I don’t remember seeing a parking area, better check with the hotel if you are driving down here. Management and staff were very good. They helped to get auto for going around the city. Overall I had a nice stay here for 3 nights. Refer photos for more details.

Giving 4 stars to this property specifically for their humble behaviour towards our pet by allowing us to keep our pet with us inside our room. The rooms are brand new and decent. However, be prepared for loose pockets if you book online, you will struggle to get basic amenities including drinking water, towels, and basic hygiene kit as they have an excuse that they don’t provide all this if you book online or through an online travel agent.

Very decent hotel in Udhampur. Rooms were neat , clean and comfortable. We book two rooms through MMT. Checkin was smooth. We paid taxi fare two times . However after check out it was noticed and we inform the same to management and within afew hours we got money back through UPI.

I had dinner at their restaurant. It was one of the best prepared food. Although there was no rush. Good experience and service

1. Very poor service. 2. The rate are too high. 3. Pl check menu card before order. The rate of a soft drink as compared to civil grocery it's 4x. 4. If you plan for party or dinner with family please prefer other hotels. 5. Rate are truly highly. This hotel should be ban. 6. Boycott.... Boycott....Boycott

Very bad experience. The rooms are very small and the washrooms are the worst. The washrooms are dark and have very less lights. The switches are not working as they should the light switch turns on the exhaust also and to my surprise if you check my photos and videos there is a big hole in the ceiling of the washroom seat 😅 that brings in cold and scary wind from top. Food is served cold and not of good quality...dining room is also dark and dirty. Room cleaning and tidy services are also not good. Highly not recommended for more that 1 or 2 days stay. Choose as your own risk
