Hotel shiv bihar

The hotel is located just 400 mtrs from Basukinath Temple with a big campus with ample parking space. But the hotel's condition is pathetic, as if Jharkhand Tourism has no concern related to it's maintenance or renovation. Bedsheets were dirty, washroom was dirty in the ground floor, with just 1 security guard to take care. No other staff was present. With it's rate, it's not recommended to avail until and unless basic hygiene level is maintained.

It has ample space for a function. Ideal for complete marriage ceremony. Big lawn for outdoor activities. Good space for indoor functions. It has open area on 1st floor also. It has rooms and halls for stay. A part from all these, it lacks in maintenance and cleanliness. Washrooms needs to be repaired and cleaned. Without proper washroom, it will become useless.

This place was awsm when I visited two years ago.I really fell in love with the outside nature & services of the hotel.. But now a days it became little down.The colours of the rooms are dropping everywhere. Air condition machines not works properly. You will be sweating within ac rooms where it shows 16 degree temperature 😂 The running water supply not works properly..Bt one thing I must admire which is the food quality..The cook is very good & serves tasty food though a little bit costly...

The only good thing about the hotel is it has a very big ground for organizing functions. Except for this, I didn't like anything in the hotel. The rooms are not maintained. Only 4 triple bedded rooms + 1 small room at ground floor. Not sure about the sizes at first floor. I didn't see any staff taking care of cleaning. I guess cleaning happens only once in a day which results in degradation of washrooms as there is a variety of people attending functions. Moreover, there was no water in the morning (25th Feb, 20) while I was returning. The toilets were all spoiled and looked like 2005 Railways toilet (these days toilets are well maintained).

It's little far from the temple 1.5kms. Rooms are average. Food is not reliable. Staffs are cooperative. A.C room for 2 people costs 950 Rs . Car parking is available.

Very high rate of room and fooding. So my view never stay here from next time. Don't visit the Shiv vihar hotel.

Nice hotel to stay with family but don't take food like rice better eat chapati , and best if can use curd and chiura with Pera amazing test and will be safe from food poisoning.

This place is so peaceful and it have big area for parking. Here's honour is so friendly including all staffs here they welcomes the guests who comes here.
