For the size of the town, the hotel and room are quite good. The food was excellent and courteous & helpful staff. Bathroom was clean, had complimentary toiletries and geyser for hot water. Room was simple, no kettle but comfortable with AC. Overall comfortable stay for one night in third week of August 2019

The property is good but require some improvements like Room No.401 bathroom leakage etc., And price seems to be higher side in a small town. Reception is not available in night, hence any boarder wants to go for morng walk, he should inform in advance as main gate will open late. Food was good. Bathroom was smelly.

Worst place to stay in Chaibasa.If you are chaibasa look for some other hotel but don't stay here. People and service is worst here.They will treat you as if they are paying you . Again a caveat don't stay here.

I stayed for a month here and as per my personal experience you'll get best rooms for staying here as compared to other hotels in this location. It's quite expensive but it's upto your choice. And the food you'll get also good. So if you need a good room with food then you can consider it among one.

Food was okay. However I'm completely disappointed with the service and their billing process. The bill I got wasn't machine printed and they don't except cards. I will not blame the staff for their slow service since there were couple of other people over there and he was the only one who was serving as well as taking the order. Shifa Manor you need to improve a lot on many areas otherwise you'll start losing people.
