Hotel Mahamaya Palace

The rooms were not good. Bed was uncomfortable. No cleaning or proper maintenance of the room. If it rains then all water will come inside through the AC. For anything you need to call then hundred times. Cleaning person will not come everyday you need to call them. The locks doesn't work properly it's too difficult to lock and unlock. Food is good but don't organize and king of party there as they will charge you for more number of plates if 10 people eat they will say 12. Even there staff also comes and eat. The sat is also not good and rude. It looks they are drunk and serving you.

The list of disadvantages of this hotel is much lengthier than the advantages of this hotel. Disadvantages:- 1. The housekeeping and other subordinate staffs are very lazy. 2. Mosquitoes in room.If you will ask for help, you either get no help or they provide some repellent which is ineffective(after ages). 3. The amenities provided in the rooms with respect to the price or charges is not up to the mark.No toothbrush/paste/no toiletries...even some rooms they did not give towels. 4.The toilet basin was malfunctioning 5. Tv not working in 3 out of 4 rooms we booked.When asked, they made an excuse of rain. 6. Lift is not working when there is power cut. You have to mention them that lift is not working, then they will start the lift using inverter (which will take ages) 7. The restaurant has a strong foul smell all the time 8.Restaurant not ready to handle 10-12 people order at a time. 9.No car parking facility, they ask to park on road side. My car got scratches overnight. Some of the advantages:- 1. The receptionist, the restaurant staffs, and housekeeping are very soft, polite, and helpful 2. The food at this hotel is very homely 3. The quality of the food is good. 👌

I would recommend everyone this hotel.. I was so much scared and very hesitant by looking at some bad reviews before making the booking.. but when i stayed in this hotel.. I realised I would have done a big mistake if I go with some bad reviews.. This hotel is one of the best and amazing place to stay.. it is near Baba Dham .. The room was deluxe room and it was very clean and staff was so kind and helpful.. the best thing is they keep the room clean and they change bed sheets, pillow covers, moping and cleaning.. the kitchen food is also good.. washroom was very clean.. there are no bugs,no insects those are all false reviews please don’t go by that.. 1thing is there mosquitoes, please use Mortein or Allout for that.. I really enjoyed my stay.. had a great time in this Hotel..

One of the worst ever experienced face by ame and all my friends as we booked two rooms in Rs3600 but the don't have any facilities worth of it as no mosquito repellant, room freshner and even toilet flush is not working and in one geyser is also not available. Stinking blanked and bed mattress is also to stiff. Overall no comfort at all as no room service provided by the hotel staff. Strongly recommend not to go there at all.

This hotel is very good, it is close to Deoghar temple, the reception here is very talkative and offers rooms at good prices and the staff here behaves very well.

Its a complete NO even if you are giving a second thought to stay here. They charge you for nothing. There is a lift which they will not allow you to use. The flush wasn't working in our washroom & despite repeated requests nobody gave a check. Dirty floors with dust all over the room. We had pre-booked the room but still our rooms were no ready....they had just covered the bed with a linen. We waited for 2 hrs for them to come & change the bedsheets that were used by the earlier residents of the room...it had all type of lipstick stains...hairs...dirt on it. Room service is next to zero response but arrogant staffs. Talking about the food, it would be betr if eat somewhere else....pathetic, bland unhygienic, should be the words to use. The TV doesn't work....there water continuously falling on your bed from the AC if you wish to switch it on.

Rooms are good but very small. Cleanliness and bedsheet change is not done on daily basis. Food service is a problem but staffs are very cooperative and well behaved. Overall it's a good hotel.
