HOTEL SATYAM PALACE

I recently stayed at this Hotel, and I couldn't be more impressed. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. Stayed on January 2023. Hotel rooms were clean. Amenities were also good as compared to price. They offer complementry frer stay for driver. Room service and housekeeping was not good. We had to call them several times for housekeeping. One concern was privacy. Most of the rooms of the hotel have a window without any curtain which connects the toilet sewage duct. The manager was not ready to understand that it is a concern of privacy. The hotel doesn't have any restaurent. But there are some restaurents nearby.

Great location on Dumka - Deoghar road very easy to find out. Very attractive looking hotel has satisfactory parking space. Double bedded rooms are enough spacious. Elevator is added advantage. Very sweet spoken reception stuffs along with other employees. 24 hours check out. Good quality restaurants are available at stone throwing distance. Tarriff of rooms are very reasonable.

Below average hotel. Here's my experience. 1)They have frequent power cuts, which obviously switches off the AC. What's the point of AC rooms then? 2)They don't have a restaurant 3)The old boomer uncle who sits at the reception is either rude or not at all interested in listening to the guests. He always ignored us and pretended not to listen whenever we asked him something. 4) We checked in at 10 a.m. At that time, when we asked the boomer uncle at the reception whether they'd allow us to extend the stay (The stay lasts for 24 hrs, but since we had to go to the temple for darshan the next morning, we doubted if we would make it or not by 10), he agreed. But then the next day, when of course we got late, we started getting calls from the hotel at 9:50. They said we'll have to leave at 10, else they'll remove our luggage from our rooms. We felt lied and betrayed. Overall, i'd recommend not to book this hotel. You'll get plenty of better options, go for them.

Terrible hotel, extremely dirty rooms and bad behaviour of the hotel owner. Would not recommend this at any cost.
