Shivashray Homestay

This is a perfect homestay but not a hotel. We stayed for 1 day for Jharkhand High Court Exam purpose, and it is very much convenient for them who is in search of homely feeling hotels. Rooms are very big, well maintained and very much clean. There is no attached washroom. Washroom is beside(two hand distance ) of the rooms and they are tidy and clean. Water service is also very good. And lastly, the caretaker of the homestay, Mr. Divyansh and his family, is very caring and the service they serve is very good.

Hi, gues My name is Balaji Ranjit Patil and I have recently visited on 29/06/2025 to Jharkhands capital city Ranchi for an JPSC exam at that time I got a online hotel booking in Shivashray homestay at most cheapest price of all over hotels of Ranchi. The owner of this property Mr. Divyansh Sir and his all family members are so cooperative and familiar with guests. Within my unforgettable memories of that room service boy name called as "Mahaveer" is a shy and nice person.His behaviour with their guests are so good. So gues I personally advised that when you are goes to the Ranchi plz visit the most beautiful hotel "Shivashray Homestay".

Worst Experience Ever – Avoid at All Costs! If you value your peace, safety, and sanity, DO NOT STAY HERE! This so-called "homestay" is nothing but a nightmare. The owner is unbelievably rude, unprofessional, and completely lacks any basic manners or etiquette. Instead of hospitality, you get hostility. The conditions were horrible—probably worse than a rundown lodge. Cleanliness? Nonexistent. Basic facilities? A joke. The owner seems to think he’s doing guests a favor by letting them stay, while in reality, he should be banned from running any kind of accommodation. We had a dispute over basic services, and instead of resolving it maturely, the owner acted in the most arrogant and disrespectful way possible. Zero accountability, zero responsibility, and a 100% horrible attitude. Save yourself the stress and money. There are far better places in Ranchi—just stay anywhere else but here!

Very accessible location. Rooms and bathroom clean. Good food service..homemade food is served. Mahaveer ji takes care of room service. Perfect homestay.

I traveled with my team. The rooms were good, and the food and breakfast were very healthy. It was very safe for families and girls. The owner was very nice.
