Octave Hotel JM Residency

Check in process is smooth, rooms are relatively clean (the closet had a nasty smell though so couldn't use it) and the ac works good, but that's about it. The rooms are EXTREMELY small even for a single person, there is barely any space other than the bed (which is comfortable). The bathrooms itself are sticky and not the cleanest, and during my stay of 3 days, i got hot water for about 6 hours on the first day, rest of the stay it was "broken and sorry for the inconvenience", this is in winter btw. There are barely any toiletries and the ones they have are of poor quality, they won't have stuff even if you ask a lot of times. There are about 3 people working at the place through the day, and if you need room cleaning after 10 pm you are out of luck as the only cleaner leaves. There is a working power backup thankfully as we did have a brief power cut, and they provide iron for your clothes too if needed. And yes, there might a few insects and cockroaches you'll meet on your stay, make sure to say hi to them, no bedbugs thankfully. Also the TV didn't have anything connected to it so couldn't use it, and there is a single chair with no proper desk to eat your meals even, and the glasses in the room provided were unclean so I had to bring packaged drinking water from outside. The staff is helpful only 60% of times. The only saving grace is the location which is very close to the heart of Bangalore in Sheshadripuram and might be the only reason one should stay here if they are on a smaller budget, but it in no way justifies the price atleast for the room and services I got. They don't match the images exactly and feel disappointed. If the providers manage to improve the toilet cleanliness and consistency of services it is still worth a stay but not in the state I visited. Also outside food is allowed so you have a lot of great places around you can order from!

The staff and reception are very polite and helpful. They accommodate in the best way they can. I had come looking for room after a cancellation unexpectedly in a different hotel and in late hours but still they had helped out with room. Also as the room I booked was sold out, they gave me an upgrade without any extra charge, which is great. The room is also clean and worth for the price and location.

“It was a good experience — There are lots of Northern Indian Staffs they are very much supportive towards guest I feel so good to talk to them. There are many restaurants around the hotel, especially Tasty Paradise.”

I am currently staying in this hotel they have shared deceiving pictures on all platforms The rooms in the image are completely different Unhygienic, dirty , poor service, rude owner, also they falsely made me book higher category, took payment, , and gave lower category wherein one of their staff said that the picture of the room shared on these platform we don’t have anything like this. This place need inspection on urgent basis . Requesting other to not waste money on booking this property instead just flag this property to be banned from such platform

one of the worst residency rooms are not cleaned... staffs behaviors are not good... today early morning calling & directly saying sir check out the room. today rooms are full.. its not a good. Whatever is booking rooms online please check the reviews please don't just consider the 5 star rating.

Worst experience ever at Bangalore Room is not comfort. Bed is dame very old only springs no foam. Bedsheets are not clean. No cover for pillow. Tv is just a sale for room facility show nothing is connected to it. Mosquitoes bite no proper clean. Staffs doesn't know kannada nor english only he blablaring in hindi. Nothing they can understand. Reception staff is not polite. Very rude to ladies. He doesn't want to listen my concern. He just asking to check out. Rooms are not like in photos. Overall worst

I have stayed in this hotel for almost 4 days.really nice customer handling and good staff .safe place to stay in budget . Even I was with my mother only .we really feel safe.
