OYO Sharan Residency

If i had an option to give zero stars, i would have given them 0, these guys did not allow us coz i was with a female friend when we agreed to give all the documents a d mentioned that we came for a wedding here next morning and it was late, worst service please don't visit this please they will judge you like anything.

One of the best lodges in channarayapatna. Rooms available on the 3rd and 4th floor. Large rooms with good airflow. But maintenance is not good. Restroom not clean and hygienic.

It's good rooms in city and water bottles should be provided as complimentary but we got after we r asking ,It's difficult to park @ mrng time becz we ve to park in foot path only no support area for parking & u get good food in ground floor

Booked two rooms through OYO. Because of OYO’s poor customer service two star was given. Otherwise the hotel room is not bad. Bathroom/toilet was not clean. I booked Deluxe (3x) King size bed rooms. Despite that the hotel staff given me Executive class rooms, which were smaller than Deluxe rooms. When I confronted they gave me deluxe rooms but didn’t provide me Air-conditioner remotes stating that A/Cs were not working in any room. They installed brand new Voltas A/c in both the rooms which were in standby mode. Made complaint to OYO, but they never sorted out the issue till this date of writing review. They hotel staff told because of low tariff bookings by OYO, they would discontinue OYO bookings from July 19. Hence, I suspect, they were not switching on A/c to save some cost. It is better to book directly rather than through OYO even if costs little higher price if you want A/c. There were some construction work going on in the ground floor. Car Parking can be done on the roadside. There is one Padmavathy Jain Mess located 1.6 km from this hotel. You will get homely food with reasonable price. We liked it. There is one more veg restaurant in the same road very near Sharan Residency. The location marking in the google map is wrong. It is located few building next to BMR Residency.

Hotel is best if you want to stay in budget. Food is good too. New management has improved the hotel alot.

Rooms are basic but extremely clean. Bathrooms were very clean and neat. The service was excellent. Place is very close to Shravanabelagola. Parking available. The veg restaurant at the ground floor was very clean food was good and quick service. Overall a great place to stay in Shravanabelagola.

Channarayapatna is a very small town. There are only a few good hotels in the town. Sharan Residency is one of the best options in the town. It is on the 3rd floor of the building and in the ground floor there was some work going on. I was informed that an Udppi Restaurant is coming up in the ground floor. If that also comes in place, Sharan will excell in service. The staff were gentle and friendly. The room was neat and clean, above all it was a spacies room and the cot & bed was of high standards. If one is planning to visit Sravanabalagola and some important temples near by Saran Residency is an ideal choice.

Stayed in hotel for 25days due to bank work.Room service is good.Reception is unorganised (maybe off season)No oyo booking currently.Vegetarian hotel available at ground floor(nandagokula). Non vegetarian and bar & restaurant in first floor.Hotel is walkable distance from bus stand.Room charge @1300 for Non AC and @1500 for AC.
