DVG Socials

Right on NH4, this place is good for a break from the drive, have good food and rest. But, we visited this place for other reasons. We got together in DVG Socials to celebrate our Engineering reunion(36 people) and stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. Good food, good service and good company made this a pleasant stay! One feedback is to ensure more cleaner bathrooms and keep the premises clean to avoid dust from the ongoing highway work.

We found this place on NH 4 while our road trip from Goa. The restaurant is good and pool side. The food is really really delicious but a bit costly. Staff is polite but service is slow. This place needs maintenance, as pool was dirty and washrooms were also dirty. We had to request the staff to clean it to use it. The management should take a note of it. Evreything is good about this place including the bar, but maintenance and hygiene is poor. There are also mosquitoes

It was a well built resort but felt it was not maintained well for the price they are charging for per day. Didn't get hot water supply in bathroom and no power plug for the TV and set top box both together. Location is on the highway which was very convenient. Very friendly staff and good service.

I stayed here with my family for a night on our way to Goa. The rooms were not that great but for the price (2k) we paid we can't complain as well. However, they could have controlled the insects and mosquitos in the premise and in the rooms as well. The location of the hotel was very convenient for us as it was on the highway side. The dinner and service were also decent, and the staffs were very polite. However, they do not provide breakfast at the hotel and there are no good restaurants also nearby. Overall, it was a stay without any complaints since it just served the purpose as we just wanted to rest one night on our way to Goa from Bangalore.

We stopped on the way to Bangalore for a night stay. The room was basic, however the mattress was way too soft and hence uncomfortable to sleep on and the AC even though it was on, was not cooling the room. There was no ventilation in the bathroom which was smelly. The staff was very helpful and polite since we were traveling with a baby and a dog, so that was appreciated. Overall it was an alright stay for us, since this is one of the only pet friendly hotels in the area and also it is located right on the highway. The food was food as well. The rooms could do with an upgrade, they seem quite dated.

Private resorts so please don't expect great comforts here. We visited today with family. Dry day due to ganesh visarjan even though it's oct 5th 2024, No room service/ available/ delivered to room. It's okay for one night stay, management can improve and facilitate more to make our experience enjoyable. Fyi the restaurant is too dark. Management need to add a little light too. But the food especially the platter was too good. My son enjoyed the swimming pool and a variety of insects like wasps and other critters which was kind of educational for him

Decent place. The restaurant manager (or owner?) with his baritone voice was the stand out of this place. What a voice. The bearded middle aged man. Food was okay. Drinks were decent. Good highway stop. Actually we stopped by as Apoorva was closed last Saturday (2nd nov 24). Lots of families were eating, along with groups of youngsters mostly male and well behaved. All in all, decent place.

Had our college reunion function, the host was an absolute gun, catered to all our needs. The place is fantastic, the only problem is the access due to road works which should complete soon enough and could become a good goto place in dvg
