This place is not authentic Udupi style. Fake Udupi hotels are tarnishing the reputation of authentic Udupi hotels.

Good hotel to stay, low cost rooms , big rooms , tv , good service in rooms. Ample.parking space. You will find 1st floor hotel and upper floors for stay. Not crowded .

We arrived at the Ashoka Hotel around 1.30 in the morning. Everyone was sound asleep but security finally arrived and opened the gate. People were sleeping on the floor at the reception as well. Many of them were later seen as receptionists. A flawless hotel in the area. Good rooms. Waste management does not seem to be going well. Yet the staff all cooperated well. One thing to note is that there is a restaurant next to this hotel. The night is not working but the food is super. It is tasty. Tea is also good. The price is much lower than in Kerala. Lemon tea is not available here even though the lemon is in the fridge. However, a staff member added lemons to the hot water. There is also a bar right next to this hotel.

Their behavior is very bad. Services also not good provided, Room is like a hut, And if you have a little money left to pay, they take away all your belongings. Bad experience ever.

Okay to stay while Hampi busy and you dont get any better.. Cons * Bathrooms could have cleaned well * Room Service could have been improved up to Kamath level *first floor is full of Bar odour. So ask for upper floors in specific *Restaurant is not up to mark *Not Okay for the money paid except working AC on hot day don't make you regret for what is paid. Pros *Well visible while on road *good rooftop area available for relax with some Booze. Food is served *Enough parking and kinda ok courteous staff Overall cleanliness needs to be improved.

Food was good and well maintained staff. Worst thing is u can't find better restrooms even though the hotel is very big and looks sophisticated.
