One of the oldest Udupi Restaurants in Gokarna. The food has real Udupi taste, trust me I am from Udupi. The restaurant is almost 50 years old and still holds its authentic cultural taste. Menu is simple, so is the taste. Gives you a vibe of homely food. The food has satvik taste in it. Must recommended for a visit. The meal costs only ₹70/-

We had brunch there and we ordered idli and set dosa both was good and also at very affordable price. The place is run by two old uncle buddies which was really good to see. This is pure veg hotel, veg thali is also good here. One thing would like to highlight is that they dont take UPI only cash so please keep that in mind before going, we did not knew so had to go to atm and take out cash.

Our family received a warm welcome with smile by Gentlemen. We ate breakfast and Dinner and paid by UPI. He loves to server and enjoys serving food as a family member. Price is very nominal compared to other Hotels. Had homely food. ( no soda, no tasting powder no color and no plastic to pack food so no parcel )

We had breakfast and lunch here for breakfast they charged around 70 rs for idli and dosa . Chutney is good compared to any other place which i had. Coming to lunch i had meals with chapati and rice it was good i liked sambar and curry(cabage) Regarding service they are very polite and if i compare with hyd restaurant i can compare it with subbaya gari hotel (people visit there because of the treatment they provided for service). Stayed in Gokarna for almost a week but never found the better place to have breakfast than this hotel. Minimalism at it's best. Proper taste with reasonable rates. Must visit for budget travelers in Gokarna. Homely vibes. Nice hospitality.

A Delightful Dining Experience at Udupi Hotel, Gokarna During my recent visit to Gokarna, I had the pleasure of dining at Udupi Hotel, and it was an experience I won’t soon forget. The food was simply outstanding, with every dish bursting with flavor and made with the utmost care. What truly set this place apart, however, was the hospitality. The owner, an elderly gentleman full of energy, took great pride in his establishment. He maintained the hotel with remarkable cleanliness and served each meal with a warm smile and genuine love. His positive energy was contagious, creating a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere that made the meal even more enjoyable. Udupi Hotel has quickly become my go-to spot whenever I’m in Gokarna. The combination of delicious food, impeccable service, and the overall positive vibe makes it a place I look forward to returning to again and again.

The best authentic Udupi taste in entire Gokarna at an unbelievably nominal price. The veteran chef Mr. Bhargav Ravichandra Holla and his junior make some amazing Udupi breakfast dishes, served with love and affection. Don't miss their version of Idly. He can speak English while mixing that hot filter coffee. Also the place has an authentic vibe attached which speaks about the culture of Karnataka. Definitely a must must visit place in Gokarna. Simply the best.

An old uncle runs this place and has maintained it like his own home. It was started by his parents and the uncle runs it now alongside some helpers. The food is warm, delicious and homely and I don't think any vegetarian would need more than this. Absolutely nostalgic place and very cosy ☺️
