Rambler Stay Backpacker Hostel

I have visited Gokarna just a few days ago(27.02.2020). This was my second trip to Gokarna, and also, it would be the second time I would be staying at Rambler stay. Rooms are clean and air conditioned. Perfect for a group of six or seven. Food is great. And every single one of the staff are very friendly. And obviously, they have their star attraction...Bunty the dog. What I loved about Rambler stay other than all above, is their common area. The arrangement is so good you can literally spend your entire day there. Also, they have started to arrange activities such as night trek to paradise beach and watching phytoplankton. While writing this review, I would like to thank Chetan for taking such good care of us, suggesting the best on the food menu, and also for suggesting the complete itinerary of Gokarna. If I do visit Gokarna once again, and I am sure I will, I would definitely come here once again.

My friends and I stayed at Rambler Stay for 3 days and it has been one of the most amazing and wholesome experiences we’ve had as a group. The rooms and clean, hygienic and extremely comfortable. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is beautiful, comfortable and homely. Vinay is an amazing and hospitable host and the staff is really helpful and cooperative too. I’ll find my way to this place again for sure! <3

Fantastic Vibes and a perfect place to have an amazing time. There isn’t hot water yet and the places isn’t too fancy at all but you can’t complain. Bathrooms are of substandard quality. Food provided there is a bit pricey but decent for Gokarna. There is an amazing offbeat beach nearby which is great. Overall an Amazing place to have lot of fun with like minded people and not a lot of restrictions.

This place was absolutely insane! Was there with my friends for 3 days and absolutely loved the ambiance. The common area felt like college life all over again. The food was simply amazing. Given that Gokarna is an expensive place, the food here was relatively cheaper and really good compared to the other places we went to. Located very close to the beach. Literally walk it down to the calmest part of the beach. Also, given the price per bed, the best deal ever. Special mention to Bunty (the cutest dog ever) for being a gracious host and making our stay even more special. And finally a big big thank you to Vinay and Chetan for being the most gracious host. Vinay, you are the best and hopefully we will meet you again in one of your upcoming stays in Manali!!!!!

My 1 week stay at Rambler along with my friends was completely worth it! The host and owner Mr. Vinay was so hospitable and catered to all the needs. Not just that, he ensured that he spends enough time with us, interacting and sharing his experience with us, suggesting amazing places to visit nearby which is not even listed on itineraries on Google! Food at Rambler is just worth it. No matter what you order, the chefs prepare it with utmost quality. We tried from North Indian food to South Indian food, American, Italian and Chinese and we were shocked to experience how everything was damn tasty! After having tried food at different places in Gokarna, I can vouch for the food here. This was my first experience staying at a Hostel and it was an amazing experience. Made some amazing friends here! Next time onwards whether its me or anyone else, I am for sure gonna chose Rambler Stays!

Had the most amazing 2 days at this place. To list a few reasons- A really welcoming and helpful staff, Clean rooms (And Bathroom), and they had the BEST food (in both the categories). All in all a greaaatt place to chill and relax. And also the chery on top being there a beach located just a few mins away which is never crowded like the usual ones there which enables you to have a" private beach wali feeling " (lol) with your group. A MUST VISIT. :)

The place was apt, close to beaches and pretty accessible. The host is very helpful- he suggests the best possible way to spend time(if u haven't planned already). The rooms are clean and well maintained. Great lounge area to hang out with friends and to make friends! The restaurant is good and so are the people who work there- fun and helpful! Best place to stay and on a budget. Solo or with gang do visit! This place is real fun!😄

I had an amazing experience staying at Rambler. It provided me the exact ambience I was in search of. They have all kinds of inhouse games imaginable and not to mention Bunty ( their pet golden retriever) who was goodest boi and the highlight of the stay. Chef Chethan with his amazing culinary and hospitality skills was an extraordinary host. Would definitely recommend to anyone planning a trip to Gokarna. Staying here is going to be an experience in itself. Do give it a shot !!
