The Ashhok Hassan

This is an amazing hotel overall. We have stayed numerous times over the years. Food and drinks in the restaurant are consistently great. Breakfast is outstanding. Pool is well maintained and the staff are very helpful, courteous, and polite. This is the best hotel in Hassan hands down.

Hotel is centrally located. Near to railway station. All necessary essential provided in room. Swimming pool was not cleaned and due to rain algae was formed. Gym facility is good. Dinner was not great as buffet area was too much crowded and it was not well managed by staff. Breakfast spread was good and tasty. Spa services is not operational

We stayed in a Deluxe Room. While the hotel is a bit old, they have maintained it well. The decorations; primarily the lamps and the furniture were very quaint. While the bathroom was very clean, there was clear sign of aging - lime scales and rough grout around shower fittings that kind degraded otherwise excellent experience. Bed was a double bed, a bit smaller than a typical queen bed but they promptly arranged an good quality extra single mattress. Buffet breakfast was great. Not a big spread but sufficient good quality spread. The food in the a-la-carte restaurant was great; the service wasn't slow but lacked attention to details like not giving enough cutlery or not knowing much about the menu. They had a complimentary tea / coffee and snack; the snack of the day was home-made cookies; which was a bit rustic and tasty even though it did not look great. Staff is friendly and efficient. The hotel is away from the busy streets but conveniently located.

A little old but well maintained hotel in Hassan for a quick stopover or overnight stay. It is definitely value for the money. Staff is helpful and breakfast was very good. Decent spread with each item cooked well - South Indian mainly.

We visited the hotel for lunch in the afternoon, and honestly, it was a terrible experience. We ordered the chili cheese macaroni and white creamy pasta, but what they served us was pasta drenched in mayonnaise. When we asked how we were supposed to eat this and requested chili flakes and oregano, they bluntly told us they don't have them and don't provide them. To make matters worse, the guy named Dharshan who served the food even refused to give us a glass to drink water. When we insisted on speaking to the manager, he showed so much attitude and refused to help, saying he works for Blue Beans, not Ashoka, so it wasn't his problem. There was no proper response at all. We waited for more than 30 to 40 minutes, and there wasn't a single person inside to assist us not even to offer water while we were having our food. Later, when we asked him for a glass to drink water, they give us a tea glass and told us to drink water in that The food was awful definitely a zero rating. The staff clearly have no idea how to treat customers and were very argumentative. We left feeling extremely disappointed. Avoid this place if you care about good food and decent service. Worst experience. never ever visit this hotel do have pics for the proof, but I am not able to post it here.

Originally we were booked at Pearl Hotel, Hassan, however upon arrival and inspection of the room we found it to be dirty. In poor state of repair, we chose not to stay, but called our travel agent who immediately transferred us to Ashhok Hotel. This was not much better. The bathroom had grime in all corners between floor and walls. The furnishings were run down and had much surface damage. Quite unappealing, and frankly 3rd world in appearance.

Luscious green property with decent amenities ,the rooms are cozy and the foods pretty good,the pool is outsourced meaning the guests will have to share it with outsiders which is kind of awkward the pool staff were totally rude but the hotel staff are courteous and welcoming ,the property is big and kind of heritage overall kind of pricey but is worth it

One of the best options to stay in Hassan. The room was clean, the staff very courteous, and they have a nice compound with enough parking space. We had a very pleasant stay at Ashhok, Hassan.
