Everyone was very professional and helpful. Our rooms were very comfortable. The bathrooms are new and spotless with 24hr hot water. We had a lovely free buffet breakfast on the top floor with nice views. Very handy to the centre of town and bus stand. Good place to stay.

Poor experience overall. They charged more than the price shown online, and even after paying the higher rate, breakfast wasn’t included. The rooms had a terrible smell, and there’s no proper shower option for hot water since the geyser is gas-based and only provides hot water through the tap. If you book directly on-site, they won’t provide a GST bill and will charge extra. It’s better to look for an alternative stay.

The room in Doha king was clean, well-maintained, and hygienic. The staff responded quickly to any requests and provided excellent service. However, the complimentary breakfast was very poor—it was brought in from another hotel, tasted extremely salty and watery, and did not meet expectations

Really average hotel rooms. Rooms were clean but the bath towels were not good to use. Toilet was good and even hot water also was there.

Absolutely disappointing experience. It’s shocking that Treebo associates with such substandard hotels just for the sake of money. Rooms smell bad, especially the beds — extremely unhygienic. Breakfast was a joke — brought from a local thela-wala. Not fresh, not clean. Geyser doesn't work, so forget about hot water. Telecom was non-functional — couldn’t even reach reception easily. Tried contacting Treebo customer support, but their response was far from helpful. No proper resolution given. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and amenities were all below average. This is not what Treebo promises or advertises. Worst experience. Do yourself a favor — don't book this hotel. Treebo seriously needs to review who they partner with.

From the moment we arrived until the time we checked out, every aspect of our stay was handled with exceptional professionalism, warmth, and care. The service here is truly at its peak – far superior to many star-rated hotels I’ve stayed at. The staff are not only well-trained but genuinely committed to helping guests in any situation. What really stood out was the way the owner, Mr. Sham, went above and beyond to assist me during an unexpected and stressful situation. After a long journey, I arrived at the hotel around 9:30 PM, only to discover that my car tyre had gone flat. To make matters worse, I didn’t have a jack lever to replace it with the stepney tyre. I was completely unsure of what to do at that hour in a new town. But Mr. Sham stepped in like a true savior. With a calm and reassuring smile, he said: “Don’t worry, I am here to help you.” He immediately got on the phone and started calling tyre shops and local contacts, despite the late hour. He didn’t just make a few calls and leave — he personally stayed with me and ensured the issue was resolved. He even negotiated with the tyre shop guys to help me get the best possible price. Who does that? This is not just hospitality — this is humanity at its best. I truly believe it’s rare to find such genuine care and selfless service in today’s world. Mr. Sham and his team made me feel like family, not just a hotel guest. That kind of experience leaves a lasting impression, and I will never forget their kindness and support during that difficult moment. ✨ If you are ever visiting Madikeri, I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Doha King Hotel. Absolutely Horrible Stay – Avoid at All Costs! My experience at Treebo Hotel Doha King, Medikiri was beyond terrible. I had booked the room for a comfortable stay with my elderly parents, but what we got was a complete nightmare. 1. Non-AC Room with No Fan: The room had no air conditioning and not even a ceiling. When I requested a room change, the hotel staff coldly responded that all rooms are like this. I’ve never heard of a hotel room without even a fan—it was suffocating and made the stay unbearable. A small table fan hanged on a wall was not sufficient for a big room 2. No Breakfast or Kitchen Facility: Even though I had opted for breakfast while booking, the hotel didn’t serve any. They arranged something from outside after repeated follow-ups. Later, I came to know that the hotel doesn’t even have a kitchen. It’s incredibly misleading. 3. Filthy Bedding and Used Towels: The bedsheets were dirty, and the towels looked like they had already been used by someone else—smelly and clearly not dry-cleaned. I had to go out and buy fresh towels just to get by. 4. Room Booking Scam: I booked a two-bedded room based on the photos since I was traveling with my parents. On reaching, I was told that no such room exists. Instead, they gave us an extra thin mattress with a dirty bedcover and a standard blanket to sleep on the floor. Utterly unprofessional and unacceptable. 5. Missing Toiletries: There were no toiletries in the room. I had to ask multiple times before they reluctantly provided the basics. 6. No support from treebo customer care as well This place is a scam and doesn’t even meet the bare minimum standards of hospitality. The listing is totally misleading, and the service is appalling. Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel completely

This hotel was very spacious. I can say that it is the most spacious hotel I had booked for my trip to India. The only downside is that the bus stand is so nearby that you can hear the commotions. The male staff were very accommodating and kind. They also let you know on the attractions you should check out in Madikeri. The breakfast was decent and nice. I see a lot of reviews on being able to order only one dish per person but that is not true. They never mention such a thing and you can order more but you have to finish you food to avoid wastage. Food was not that great but it gets the job done. I was happy with my stay at the hotel and the check out was also hassle free. Highly recommend.
