OYO Home Mountain Mist

We visited picturesque Thalakaveri in a overcast weather on 26th February and came to Madikeri in late hours in night... We had booked this homestay over phone. Unfortunately their cook was on leave. So night food was arranged by the owner bringing kindly from a restaurant nearby. Morning breakfast supplied to the room itself prepared by owner's wife. They have four independent rooms on first floor. There is a common balcony which provides panoramic misty view of mountain range. We missed out to taste food in the hands of usual cook who is well known for delicious food. Very warmly safe place in a lovely spot on Madikeri-Mangalore highway....

This homestay does not exist. Make my trip and Oyo cheating customer by booking by this property name. Not only that I had booked for my whole family, money is cheated, whole day harrased. And found they are running this false company to collect GST and making black money. Over that local people told that many people robbed in that area. Some one stolen one person's car as well. Owner is a person with local political hold and can make you any kind of harm. So stay away from make my trip, oyo and this property for your good.

Clean and very cosy rooms. Good room service. Parking is bit problematic even thought they claim good parking facility because, if you use google maps it will take you to the place where you have to park your vehicle on small road prior 200m to room which makes other vehicles to turn back/ u turn as it the end of there road. However there is another kaccha road to reach the room, also which is not feasible for frequent use. Size of room is too small but manageable

Don't fall into fake pics posted in oyo app. 1)There is no balcony view like shown in app. Posted pics are actual view from terrors. 2)Main thing there is no privacy for couples, two room members need to share same hall, kitchen. Its a worst thing i have ever seen in oyo. Didn't mentioned in the app. 3) you don't have towels, soaps, handwash even there is no dustbin. 4) the tv will not work

The booking was cancelled just an hour before arrival and the way they treated us after was also in very poor taste.|They had overbooked the rooms though we had a much prior booking with them and did not hesitate to cancel it without any kind of compensation.|It's such a pity because according to reviews their rooms and the view is decent .|But because of their poor hospitality and unpreparedness i would not recommend them to anyone.

A cosy little apartment you will have all for yourself ideal for two or three adults with kitchen space, living area equipped with tv & a double occupancy bedroom.

They allowed me early check-in, pretty much in middle of night. Rather well maintained & quiet place with a very helpful caretaker.
