Ginger Mangalore

I had a terrible experience at Ginger Mangalore. Did not expect this from a big brand for the money I paid per night. I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights (Dec 22-25th, 2024) and found that the room was poorly maintained with a broken sink, cockroach infested bathroom and the worst thing was the lack of response from the hotel management to rectify this issue and provide another clean room. THOSE LOOKING FOR A CLEAN and HYGIENIC Room with even decent amenities please stay away from this hotel. I was offered around 2k out of a total of 15k which I had paid for the 3 nights so that I do not post the pictures of the outdated rooms and cockroaches in the bathroom. I respectfully denied it. Sharing here so that other travelers don't face similar issues. When I approached the person at the reception upon noticing the lack of cleanliness in the room, I was told that the hotel was sold out for the night and that nothing could be done. I showed a picture of the cockroaches in the bathroom to which they expressed regret but did nothing about it. I requested to speak with the manager and was told he wasn't in the property and that he would give me a call as soon as he reached the hotel. Did not hear back from the manager until the next morning when I had to call him again myself by getting his number from the front desk. Very disappointing that the manager chose to not even call and try to help us with the poor facilities being provided. On my last night at 10pm, I was offered to move to a better room when I was already dead tired and was going to check out at 5am to head back home.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ginger Hotel The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was courteous and attentive throughout my stay. My room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. And the staff was very helpful mainly Mr Abhishek Overall, my stay was pleasant, and I would recommend Ginger Hotel to friends and family. Thank you for providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I look forward to staying with you again in the future

overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is well-located, offering easy access to key attractions in the area. The lobby and common areas are modern and well-maintained, setting a positive tone from the moment you walk in. And the staffs was helped a lot The room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a mini-fridge. The bed was especially comfortable, providing a restful sleep after a long day. I also appreciated the efficient room service, which was prompt and friendly. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel’s breakfast. The spread was varied and delicious, with both continental and Indian options available. The staff at the restaurant were courteous and attentive, ensuring guests had everything they needed. However, there were a couple of areas where improvement could be made. The bathroom could have been a bit more spacious, as it felt slightly cramped. Additionally, while the hotel offers good value, some of the amenities, like the gym, could benefit from some upgrades. In terms of service, the staff were mostly professional and helpful, though there was a minor delay at check-in. Overall, my stay at Hotel Ginger was comfortable and enjoyable, and I would recommend it to others seeking a good balance of quality and affordability. With a few minor tweaks, it could easily offer an even better experience.

Excellent Stay with Outstanding Reception Staff. I recently stayed at Ginger Mangalore, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but what truly made my stay special was the exceptional service provided by the reception staff. From the moment I arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Mr.Vinod and Miss Athira went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, offering great recommendations and making the check-in/check-out process seamless. Their professionalism and friendliness made me feel truly valued as a guest. I highly recommend Ginger Mangalore to anyone looking for a great stay with top-notch hospitality.This property is hardly 500 meters from NH 66. I will definitely be returning in the future!

My stay at Ginger Mangalore was quite disappointing. The rooms were below standard, and the service was extremely slow. The amenities provided were poor and not up to expectations. The only positive aspect of this hotel was the food, which was flavorful and enjoyable. Unfortunately, that’s the only highlight of my 4-day stay. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a comfortable and hassle-free experience.

Stayed here recently for a single night. Rooms are small in size, leaving barely enough space for movement within the room. Bathroom is slightly cramped for a person of my size (5'10") and no toiletries were placed (except for some ginger infused soap - no pun intended). The restaurant was very basic and offered limited variety for breakfast. Eggs to order and dosas are available on request. Surprisingly, does not cater for South Indian filter coffee, which was a disappointment. Could also have offered a few local dishes / snacks. Adequate parking is available and the location is quite good, being just-off the main highway.

Stayed here overnight. The location is very accessible. They have a good parking space and also an ev charging station. The hotel was maintained very well. The room was clean. They had provided all the usual toiletries. We didn't utilise the room service or the in house restaurant though. Overall, it was good for the price we paid.

We booked a standard room initially, one day before asked the team for upgrade to Twin room. Staff was able to accomodate the request. Rooms are comfortable. Hotel is easily accessible from highway. enroute to Udupi. Staff was courteous and cooperative. We enjoyed the stay. One plus point was EV charging facility within the hotel premises. I was able to charge EV easily.
