Hotel Tranquil Manipal

I stayed at Hotel Tranquil for one night yesterday and found it to be very good. Their staff was very polite and helpful. ||The room was well appointed and very comfortable, with fast wifi, great mattress and pillows. ||My wife and I liked the morning buffet a lot too. It was a good spread. The restaurant is only for the breakfast buffet. For room service they have a tie up with a nearby restaurant. ||The water is provided in reusable glass water bottles in the room and in the restaurant.

I had one of the best stays at Tranquil Manipal. The staffs were all well mannered, friendly and always at your help. The rooms were spacious, neat, well maintained and with all the basic essentials.They had good breakfast spread with all the basic food. I would love to stay again ony next visit.

The Hotel is tucked on the main road with all the amenities in a very neat & clean environment. Presently, they have inhouse catering for breakfast only & this be extended for dinner as well. Laundry services is costly, while average cost is @ Rs 100/- per clothes wherein in a 4 star hotel it is @ Rs 50/-per clothes.

We had a pleasant stay. Very courteous staff. Breakfast options were too good. Our kids also loved the stay. It is located in prime location. Would definetly recommend to our friends and family. Thank you for making our stay pleasant!

Good hotel with spacious rooms. They offer good breakfast; but they don't have restaurant for lunch/dinner. Open parking space is just outside Hotel and adjacent land.

When I looked at the hotel at first from outside I was a bit disappointed . It looked modern but a bit old from outside and wasn’t liking its exact position.||However, I was about to pleasantly surprised later on .||Hotel itself is small. The reception area is small. There was one sweet lady who helped us with our luggage . Our room 204 was quite spacious. However, they need to spray the room with some fragrance because when we entered , the room smelled bad and mushy . AC was working well . Everything else , including washroom was pretty neat and tidy . Point to note, there is no electronic locker to keep your belongings .||There is no lunch dinner service in this hotel but they have a tie up with a restaurant outside from where you can order food and I found the food from that restaurant to be good . They however do offer breakfast services and it’s one of the rarest hotel in the area offering non veg in breakfast as well , which is basically eggs . Taste was really good of items like Vada, dosa etc .||Service was excellent. Maybe that’s because the hotel was quite empty but I loved their service . They were always willing to help. In one occasion, the restaurant they tied up with was not picking up the call. The hotel immediately found a solution and resolved the case. They even allowed its to have our outside dinner in the dining hall which they opened specially for us.||Location is close to Manipal university and good for students coming to this college . ||Overall, pleasantly surprised . Highly recommended for a night or two stay

The most attractive and funny matter is that the fragrance of the hand wash of the wash basin is so nice that every now and then I used to wash my hand without any reason 😃. And the most sorrowful matter of my staying in this hotel that there should be a little arrangement of lunch and dinner facilities so that we can't be able togoto the outside for food. Because the restaurant Saiba with which u have tie up is not providing the quality catagory of food as per my view....so I like to request towards the management of Tranquil please reopen ur restaurant with a little arrangement of lunch and dinner so that boarders shall satisfy with their staying in this beautiful hotel. I hv seen ur basement restaurant is so nice and well decorated for lunch and dinner. The third matter is that ur staff behaviour is very much appreciable and so well mannered and helpful nature. Mr Nagraj & Mr Abhishek (using spect) bothe r so decent and appreciable behaviour and due to their quality I hv extended my stay 1 day more there. I hope in future when I shall come again Manipal, I shall stay at ur hotel along with a delicious lunch and dinner 😋. Rooms are basic but neat and clean, buffet breakfast was satisfactory, not much variety, quality of food was okay.
