I recently stayed at Big Banian Hotel for one night, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon entering the room, we found that it had not been properly cleaned; every nook and corner was covered in dust. Additionally, the hotel staff informed us that hot water was available 24/7, but we experienced no hot water from 8 AM until 12:30 PM. Despite being promised that hot water would be provided in 15 minutes, we were left waiting for hours and had to bathe in cold water. All other customers also very disappointed about this. We didn't even get to have our breakfast, and when I asked for a partial refund, the owner dismissed the issue as trivial and refused to offer any compensation. After much discussion, he reluctantly refunded only ₹200, even though we paid ₹2200 for this terrible stay. When we raised these concerns with the owner, he was completely indifferent and unhelpful. In fact, when I mentioned leaving a negative review, his response was, "You can put the reviews if you want." Based on this experience, I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. The lack of cleanliness, poor service, and unresponsive management made our stay extremely unpleasant.

I had an extremely unpleasant stay at this hotel, and I strongly advise against visiting. The cleanliness was absolutely lacking, with the bathroom in particular being very unclean. There was no hot water available during my stay, which made things even worse. Additionally, the service was poor, and to make matters worse, the owner was rude and unprofessional when addressing my concerns. OWNER LADY IS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL Banyan Tree Comforts, Mysore - October 8th & 9th Stay Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ Pros: Friendly and efficient front office staff: Santhosh, in particular, provided excellent service by quickly resolving issues with the room after the owner's departure. Cons: Owner's poor attitude: Upon arrival, the owner kept me waiting for more than 10 minutes, despite no rush at the front desk, while training new staff in front of me. When I raised a legitimate concern about the window lacking glass, her response was hostile and unprofessional. Subpar room conditions: For a hotel that caters to international travelers, the room lacked basic essentials like a glass window, which I have never experienced in my extensive travel, both domestically and abroad. Staff treatment: From observation, the owner seems to treat her staff poorly, reminiscent of outdated work practices. This is concerning and may contribute to the tense atmosphere. Conclusion: Although the front office staff, particularly Santhosh, tried their best to make my stay comfortable, the owner's rude behavior and the initial room condition made this one of my worst hotel experiences. If you value customer service and a peaceful stay, I would recommend avoiding this hotel. I had the worst experience at this hotel. The owner treated us as though we were lucky to stay there, which was completely unacceptable. The cleanliness was appalling, with dust everywhere, and there was no hot water during our stay. On top of that, there was no parking available. I would never recommend this hotel, and I certainly won't be returning.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. There was no parking facility, and the bedsheets were in awful condition. The cleanliness was also subpar, and the owner was incredibly rude, lacking any customer service skills. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely the worst hotel stay I've had. Never visit this hotel
