Hotel Maurya Palace and Hotel Maurya Residency

My room was full of cockroaches and the bed felt damp. The male receptionist after speaking to his boss on the phone said they are not associated with Agoda even though I showed them the booking confirmation on my phone. After speaking to his boss again, said I hadn’t paid until I showed them the payment on my phone. They seem to have a problem with foreigners as I didn’t see them treating locals like this. Despicable behaviour!!!After a long bus journey, feeling very tired. The rest of the staff were very friendly.

We stayed here in Sep 2024. Booked 2 rooms. One room was average. But the other one's bathroom tiles slope is towards bed room. So all waste water coming inside the bed room. We complain this issue. They simply cleaned it with a mop and gone.. Again we used the wash room same problem faced. We paid 4 k for rooms. Even 500 lodge is better than this. Just 2 days rent is enough to clarify this issue. Toiletries not provided, except liquid soap. And the towel and floor mat colour is same. Bed sheets are ugly with blood spots. Please see the photos also.. And the hotel name is Maurya "PALACE " Embaraasing !!

One of the worst hotels I have stayed. Since it was in the middle of the city and based on the reviews and pictures, I never thought twice before paying. My mistake. I think they use to clean the room and toilet occasionally (based on the condition may be once in a month or so). Once we took out the shoes we could feel the dirt on the floor. Pretty much everything in the room was in poor to worst condition. Mattress was like a rock, towels looked used a million times and mostly torn, chairs had their legs broken, Never able to find switches to few lights and I had to take out the bulbs from the holder before sleep. Bathroom and toilet were in pathetic condition with wall tiles cracked and unclean tub. Public toilets will be far better. This hotel was popular back in the days but whoever is running it now is not maintaining it well. It is in the prime location that is the only plus point.

I stayed couple of times at this place. Comfortable stay, cleanliness was top notch and breakfast was delicious. Receptionist was very gentle and humble. Overall it was a great stay.

Located near by palace....Room are vintage type..... location is top notch but need some improvement in infrastructure of rooms...In complementary breakfast limited menu is available

I booked 3 person non AC room. Room was spacious. But they didn't provide any room service number Every time I had to go out of the room and call for room service people Also no drinking water was provided we had to buy a mineral water bottle after which it was refilled. For the third bed no blanket was provided and we asked for the blanket which was provided quite late. In bathroom both hot and normal water was provided but they had a broken mug. Complementary breakfast was good it was healthy and tasty we loved it lots of option were there. Place is located at prime location. We stayed there for a night.
