Green View Clarks Inn

Staff is good, they gave late checkout. It's near to railway station but that doesn't define it's price as unlike in metro cities here one can travel via auto...say 5km in 10-12min. I been in other hotels too so considering the rooms are small and tiny bathroom, no bath tub...as i said for the price it doesn't match, we get exact room for half the price. Regarding room cleanliness it's good. Just the price to what we get doesn't match for the options we get around the city.

I recommend 3 stars to this hotel. Hotel is good and well maintained with nice location. Rooms are little cozy but they are clean. Food quality is good. Personally feeling something is missing in this hotel. Star hotels have some high level decor, lights, rooms, resto and bar arrangements. But here i was missing that feel. Also too much rates. Over all experience is good. Service is really good.

This is one of the worst hotels I was ever stayed in. Rooms were not at all clean as we could locate couple of cockroaches in the room. The room service is pathetic . The phone in my room was not working, we went and complained the same at reception but there was no action taken. Breakfast was worse. The restaurant will take your order and once you call back they will say the kitchen is closed. The hotel is not well maintained and clean. I have the worst experience and I would recommend not to stay at this place.

Located in the city centre, decent hotel for a quick night stay if you are travelling. They have street side, basement and porch parking. Breakfast was okay. Rooms are spacious but there were a few cockroaches in the bathroom which we killed and were too tired to report. Our door key did not work at all and we had to call the reception multiple times. We paid 3K to stay for the night as we were travelling between Goa and Bangalore. Not worth 3K definitely.

Very arrogant staff, they will try their best to scam you. They kept nothing in the mini bar and claimed that we have consumed all beverages from it. For busy people's it is very hard to spent time and prove them wrong.

Not happy with the room beacause of Some strange smell , may be smoking smell. Not able to bear and caused allergic to my whole family. Bathroom exhaust not functioning. Room service didn’t bother and provided room spray. Not worth for the money paid. Overall may not be good choice from my perspective for this price range. Food is ok.

Disappointing stay here...... Never stay here as its a worst service.... Been here with kids.... Ended up having cold water shower, sadly no other alternative option, as they rely on SOLAR for hot water even during winters n rainy season.. They are just here to make money and no service.... They charge more with no complimentary breakfast too.... WORST STAY

An extremely disappointing experience at Clarks In. , Shivamogga,unlike other Clarks Inn properties.|Property is unmaintained and needs a serious renovation.Lift creaks and shakes.Room is crampy with broken fittings and fixtures.Bathroom fittings are stained and broken.Linen is unclean.Restaurant glass partition and door is broken with cracks.|Restaurant is the biggest let down with the entire team unable to understand neither converse in the local language.Food options are limited compared to the menu.Only two cocktails are available and served in regular small juice glasses.Stale chicken dishes are served.Bill is thumped while the guests are eating.The entire restaurant staff keep talking loudly among themselves,disturbing the restaurant ambience.Buffet breakfast is too basic with tasteless food.Boiled eggs and sweet are stored in a single container adjacent to each other .Terrible and pathetic service, in total contrast to a star property.|Fortunately the reception staff are courteous and well behaved with a prompt service.The final room tariffs were higher compared to the online tariff at the time of booking.Only advantage is its walkable proximity to the railway station.|Other properties in Shivamogga offer far better experience at much lesser pricing.|Definitely not recommended.
