SPOT ON 45638 Hotel Sanman Lodge

Not so great hotel. I booked a super deluxe room. Although the room is big, there is not ventilation. Also the fan is placed in weird place and does not serve the purpose. You would have to sleep on floor in order to get fan air. Looks like it a very old hotel and they have not taken any effort to revive it. I would have got a better room for the high price that I paid. Overall its not worth for the money. 3 star for hospitality.

Good for both bachelors and Family. Location is close to Bus Station and is situated in the city market area. Worth the money. Courteous staff. This is old building but cleanliness maintained is above par.

Horrible room service. Bathrooms are Indian style not western. The receptionists are rude and demand tips on top of regular payment. Bedsheets and toilet equipment are all used. Bathrooms don't have flush. You won't get water bottles. Better off sleeping on the road than paying a premium for this dingy excuse for a hotel.

Good place to stay in Shimoga. It is located at the heart of the city, and is very near to the Ceentral Bus stand. Budget friendly rooms are available. Rooms are spacious and neat. Need little more maintenance, but it was overall good. Restaurant is having limited options.

Worst accommodation ever, beds are very old, bed sheet are really worst. No intercom in room. No service, not even for water. Found a bed bug ( before sleeping for good sake). Immediately left the room. Not even a star for this facility. Please never ever book this room.

Very unfriendly receptionist.. he almost cost us our train for just 100₹. Some night receptionist didn't properly inform other staffs about us who arrived at late night... So this guy made us wait for like 45 mins and we had to literally run to get train.. Coming to room itself... Very old rooms.. cupboards weren't in usable condition. Only indian style toilets. Very less space in room..

Worst manager. Mr Arvind who is the manager of the lodge doesn't know how to talk to customers. The lodge management is cheating government and customers. They don't provide bills so that they don't have to pay tax moreover while check-in they would quote a price for the room and while checking out they would charge a different price saying that this was the price which was finalized. Arvind would shout at customers for asking about food and service costs. Hotel is clean and well maintained except the manager's behaviour and the tactics of avoiding tax by not giving bill. They don't even have a card swiping machine. They just accept cash without bill.

Nice hotel and stay .. they also have restaurant which serves breakfast and meals . Very good parking space . Main road is very near and easy to go and come back. Supportive hotel staff and room service . They help you and take care nicely . Nice discounts on online bookings.
