Lakshmi Palace

The last week of Dec, I booked 2 rooms in advance in this hotel for 4 nights stay through MMT. We were not given room till 3pm when the checkin was 12pm. We had to wait hours after reaching hotel to complete room cleaning before checkin. Food served was cold for lunch at 3:30pm. We had food poisoning after having breakfast in hotel the following day. They have room service as per their policy but we were denied of room services saying they do not have sufficient staff. Handicapped senior citizen was asked to wait in lobby for hours before checkin and had to come down 3 floors for a cup of coffee. Rooms were cleaned before checkin but the bathrooms were not cleaned. We had to checkout 1 room 2 days earlier as it was not friendly for Sr. Citizen and handicapped people. Bar at the top floor plays loud music due to which the occupants were disturbed till late night. We are still fighting for refund of 2 nights stay for 1 room and the hotel is harassing us now saying it is past booking and nothing can be done now. We were promised of call back from hotelier but till now nobody is bothered to call back. Sick of this hotel. Very bad experience to be honest. Not up to the standards.

Nice place to hang on with friends and enjoy with family also. Food is Superb(veg & non veg) Nice bar section and roof top party hall is memorable. Nice hospitality from staff. Overall a Superb hotel.

Asked for a Masala dosa and the guy gave the same with no patato sabji, asked for a onion dosa and the guy gave it with half baked dosa... Literally searched the staff for getting the final bill as everyone left us after serving dosa and didn't even have courtesy to offer a coffee/ tea.. Horrible experience.. If staff is insufficient its better to close for a while instead of irritating customers for their incapabilities..

This is one of the good place(hotel) to stay in shimogga. I really loved it as it is in the city main road u will get parking, restaurent facility. I feel we need to encourage these kind of hotels during this lockdown period while they r providing service. Very neat clean rooms and the service also good.

On the main Shimoga-Sagara road, it’s a really well kept place and cost effective. Staff was efficient and respectful. They have really cosy roof top restaurant with best tasting biryani and food available. Adiga’s restaurant and ice cream parlour is on ground floor.

We had been to the Adigas restaurant in this building I am not sure if it's the actual Vasudev Adigas chain from Bangalore Breakfast was pathetic, Idly was so cold and stale that it could be used as a weapon Khara bath - could not even eat 3 spoons Really disappointing, do not recommend to anyone

People here don't t have professionalism they change the room price as they wish, when enquired via call there was a different price offered and when reached to hotel they are demanding more money. Would highly recommend not to visit here. Worst experience

I stayed with my family and friends at Laxmi Palace, Shimoga. Nice arrangement done by hotel staff and services was good during our stay at Laxmi palace, Shimoga. All credit goes to hotel Manager Mr. Vishwanath for good hospitality. I will be happy to stay again with my family and friends at hotel Laxmi palace.
