It was a good experience overall. The single-person dormitory was really comfortable and convenient for a short stay. However, I was a bit concerned about the security—clear information about safety measures would be appreciated. One issue I noticed was that the bedsheets were not clean. It would be great if they could ensure daily cleaning and provide fresh linen for each guest. Also, there's some confusion with the name and location on Google Maps. The place is listed as "Fresh Up", but the actual name is "Naman", located on Platform No. 1, First Floor, beside the entrance. Google Maps currently directs to a different platform, which can be misleading. If you're in Udupi for exams or a quick rest, this is a great budget-friendly option. For just ₹230 for 3 hours, it's much better than paying ₹1000–₹2000 for a hotel room. Overall, a good experience—definitely worth trying!

Great place. The dorms have a/c, each bed has a charging spot and a light. Our train was 4 hours late, we would've melted away in the Sun if not for this facility. Fairly cheap too! You can take it up for an hourly basis upto 48 hours. They said you can book through irctc also.

Sort of a mixed bag experience. Was great to have a mostly clean place to rest. toilets were clean, the bedding was not. We were waiting on a delayed train, and what felt a bit shady was the crew’s insistence that the expected delay was longer than what we saw on the official website (they used another app), convincing us to book a longer stay than we eventually needed. Wasn’t a lot more expensive but didn’t leave the best impression

For those passengers who want for a short period of time, instead of paying for a full day's tariff in hotels ! 20 beds but only 1 room !!! AC, curtains, proper lighting, just like higher tier AC bogey. Also sufficient locker space below the bed.

Fresh Up has shuttered its doors, making way for Namah Retiring Rooms, a newly opened establishment offering both bunker beds and regular rooms. While slightly on the expensive side, the accommodations are notably clean and hygienic. It's crucial to be cautious of the sharp edges in the middle of the bunker beds, as they pose a potential safety hazard. The facility is situated on the first floor of Udupi Station.

Extremely comfortable and well located. Rooms are designed as per traveler needs. Chaise lounge for the solo traveler, double rooms for the couple. The chaise is spacious, covered well by curtains. There is a locker, side table and a dustbin. Adequate charging points. Common bathroom which are neatly maintained. Friendly staff. Easy to follow directions. Do visit if you want rooms for short duration. Book direct or online from irctc

I visited Udupi few days back and As usual, my train was reaching Udupi during late evening hours, which is certainly not a good time to go out and search for accommodation. As Udupi lacks good public transport late evening, I decided to stay at Fresh Up on 1st floor in the Railway Station premises rather than spending money on Auto in order to find decent accommodation just for a few night hours. ||||I ended up getting good deal of Rs. 683 including GST for 9hrs. stay in A/c Dormitory and I was alone in that 4 bed dormitory, so it was like all room booked for me. They are also having one double bedroom A/c with TV and attached toilet.||||Nice to stay for 9 hours and if you want to stay for longer say for 10-12 hours, you can rebook after 9 hours are over. Credit Card payment is allowed and you just need to PNR number of your travel and photo ID proof with residential address.||||It is also safe for couple or couple with a kid (kid below 12 yrs is accommodated free), if you get double bedroom booking, so your privacy can be maintained. If you have group of 4, then you are done, you can even book A/c Dormitory, which is having a capacity of 4 beds.||||Just in front of Udupi hotel, there is a small restaurant, where you have have your dinner or lunch or breakfast and embark on your next journey. ||||Happy Stay..Stay @FreshUp.

True value for money. Very well done up rooms, clean toilets and reasonable price. Located within the railway station premises adds to the beauty. Staff was really hospitable
