Vijaya Grand - Hotel in Udupi

We were given a so-called Deluxe suit. It's not worth even one star. Pathetic in every aspect. Sofas are torn. No basic amenities. Geyser not working. Strained Bed sheets. No trained Receptionist. Very poorly managed by Two boys. Strictly not recommended. Entirely blaming the Travel Agent SMT Travels Solution, Bengaluru, for providing us with such a pathetic hotel stay!!!???

Double rooms are too small for two. No attached restaurant and there is no option available to have food, nearby. It's in an isolation location and it's really pathetic at night time. However thanks to the service person (I don't remember his name) who attended my requests very efficiently. He understood my pain of 16 hours of travel from Chennai and arranged a room (early check-in) to get refreshed. Many thanks to him. The manager at reception has only one response "please wait...." :-( Rooms were not ready even after 30 mins of check-in time despite multiple follow-ups. The worst part is there is no provision for drinking water and they are charging per bottle!! The images shown in site is not matching with the actuals. Treebo - Your standards are below average!!!!

The hotel is around 5kms from Udupi railway station. Room is neat and clean but not spacious okay for a day or two night stay. Staffs are friendly and helping nature. Breakfast has multiple South Indian options food.Taste of the food was good. Krishna Math temple is around 3kms.

Hotel was very good for the price. Good for family, ideal location, near to famous Krishna temple . Very friendly staff. Cloak room is there to leave your luggage if want to roam city after check out. Only drawback is bad breakfast and tea. They should really improve the standard. In past reviews to people have commented on this but they have not improved. Also only one water bottle is complementary, could give two bottles per room for two person. Overall very good hotel. Highly recommended...

Hotel is nearby Krishna Temple. Rooms need to be maintained. Breakfast quality is average and have limited options. Overall cleanliness was missing. The reception telephone number is always busy. But we got a good deal for our 4 days stay @around 5.2k.

This hotel is at good location. The bathrooms are big and very clean. Beds are very comfortable. Their breakfast is good but their room service is the slowest. You may need to call twice or thrice to their reception if you need something, apart from this everything is okay

Very courteous staff. Nice spacious rooms. Centrally located at Old Diana circle. Reasonably priced. Clean rooms. Perfect for a family stay. No wonder it's sold out most of the time. Book early if you want to ensnare this hotel.

I have been here is April 2018 and February 2019. Both times after a roadtrip. The bed is comfortable and the rooms are well insulated. In Feb 2019, I ordered some breakfast. Which was delivered to my room in the next 30 minutes. 15 minutes later, I heard a knock on my door. On opening I found out my breakfast from April 2018 being finally delivered. This was a pleasant surprise! (Please fix the service- leaves a lot to be desired)
