Hotel Sriram Residency

We stayed in the hotel between 7th and 9th Oct. The ground floor is extremely well maintained and gives a posh feeling. They haven't given any importance to the pest control. Our room had cockroaches as frequest visitors, which tells volumes about the sort of importance given to cleanliness. We used the hotel for just resting, as days included sight seeing. Another point to note was related to extension policy. After 12pm checkout, in case your plan gets extended, they charge 100 each for the first 4 hours, from the 5th hour they charge for the whole day(around 1.8k). The concept of budget hotel without cleanliness is certainly not a budget stay. Lots of improvement needed on this basic aspect.

Most underrated hotel in Udipi.But gem of a hotel.Dont go by the looks of the building.We stayed there for 3 days and absolutely liked the rooms,service n restaurant.Walking distance to Sri Krishna Temple. Only cons we xan think is of that the hotel could have done better for in room TV Entertainment and a restaurant serving breakfast.Except this....wonderfull stay and absolutely helpfull n courteous staff.Will go there again.

Pleasant stay. Hotel infrastructure is old but highly maintained by the staff. 5 star for cleanliness. Also, food tastes good. We had sandwiches with filter coffee and Hakka noodles. Both were amazing and they have customised according to our taste. Humble staff. This hotel is underrated. It facilitates are upto the make of 4 star hotels. Also, the bar on 4th floor is plus point if u want to spend time with loved ones. Food and drinks are amazing there. Highly recommended for stay. Plus point - Temple is walking distance from hotel just 3-4 minutes walking.

I stayed on 1st November , hotel 🏨 and dining was too good only worst experience I had was with reception one Mr Siddhu I had never seen such a worst person, his body language, attitude, behavior today's guest unimaginable if management can look into and monitor such person things will be still better thanks

Not worth Rs.2700 a night, I booked it through Agoda & paid Rs.1700 & while booking it showed me air conditioned room, when I reached the hotel, the staff told it’s not air conditioned & I would need to pay Rs.1000 more for a AC room, as I was with my Mother & my infant niece, I didn’t wanted to go to a different hotel, the rooms as outdated as attached below, AC is new, bathroom is old, no microwave, no Kettle it was a average room which shouldn’t cost more then Rs.1500 a night. The room service was fast enough to get hot water for the Hot water bag.

Udupi was my first visit and looking at the pictures in Google and other platforms, I thought it would suit my basic needs as it is middle of the city and all the facilities and temples are within walkable distance. But, the moment I stepped into the hotel I was quite impressed. The place was very clean. The room I stayed in was well-maintained. Hygienic washroom. The hassle-free check-in process and spacious parking space. Everything was wonderful. I made up my mind that for my next visit, this place would be my first choice. The staff were very polite and humble to facilitate the things I needed. Overall it was an Amazing Experience.
