South Fort Inn

Had a very bad experience stayed for a day. I had booked through oyo at a low rate but when I checked in person at the reception was not available. One of the cleaning staff attended us and connected to some other person who told us to pay more apart what I had paid thru oyo at the time of booking. I didn't understand the concept of booking thru oyo at one rate and when checking in hotel people says a rate change. I felt bit annoyed when the hotel person told me to get I touch with oyo customer care. Behaviour was pathetic. Though I was tired after travel I didn't think of arguing with them and paid extra money. I checked out the same day and after checking out got a call from the reception saying did you find any gold ornaments in the room. The question itself was annoying as the room was handed over to us after the cleaning procedure for which I had to wait for half hr at reception after entering the hotel. Didn't the cleaning staff find what ever was missing? Why was the enquiry been done to the customer? The day for me at the hotel and experience and behaviour didn't find positive. I felt like they are trying to make some story and get more money from us. Rooms were pathetic.. Matress horrible.... Ac no cooling at all... . Would not suggest anyone to this hotel and I would like to give siggestion to oyo as well to have tie with atleast good hotel who won't harass customers and take advantage of customers.

Great experience. Friendly staff. Nice ambience and service too. The rooms were clean and well managed. Really happy with the times spent there.

First of all, THANK YOU SOUTH FORT INN for the stay, i stayed here 2 weeks before and the stay was really amazing, Good And Neat Rooms, the care taker Abhijith was really friendly and helpful for us, My Family Trip in Alleppey was really good

Good Atmosphere here at South Fort Inn, And the Manager is very Friendly and Cooperative,He arranged us the boat house with low rates , and good service at here. Thank you South Fort and the Manager for the lovely stay here ,I recommend this hotel at Alappuzha to Stay for Family.

Beware! Unethical practice of listing rooms on online platforms at low prices and once booked, they demand extra money from customers directly. I'm still wondering how this place is able to legally operate with such rampant-practises. Although parking is available, finding the place is difficult as they have kept the map location at the main road, but it is located in a narrow lane(it will be challenging to get your car in, if you are not used to super narrow lanes). Rooms are just ok. AC is not cooling at all, mattresses are pretty bad-you can feel the springs poking you and they would provide you the bare minimum amenities like towel but you would not use it might be torn or stained as are the bedsheets.

Firstly Thank You South Fort Inn, The amenities provided by them is really good for this price.They give me ,good and neat rooms for 1500rs and it's worthy. Coming to the location of South fort (the town, the houseboating , the bustand, railway station are nearby) . The manager is very helpful and friendly to us. One of the best hotel in Alleppey which I have stayed.

Very nice stay here! Great location and very friendly staff. Great hot shower, close to best dentist and hospital.
