Angeo Beach House

I really enjoyed my stay at Angeo Beach House the best part was the view it felt like I have access to a private beach. The host Martin was extremely helpful and friendly. Do stay here if you want a calm and peaceful trip.

beautiful surrounding atmosphere, Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive. The boating arranged by host were great.|Thanks to the arrangements of barbeque and drinks.

Little chilling property looking after by nice family Martin and his parents.Good taking care with helping mentality, served us good food join us at the beach till late at night. Enjoyed a lot.... Thank you so much for having us at your property Wishing you a very Happy New Year

Location is very good .just near to beach , you can take a small gate within the property to reach the beach take bath and even enjoy sitting at night near the beach, there will be a lot of fishermans near the beach but that was not a problem.Rooms were very spacious and good with a balcony where you can sit and enjoy the food. Only thing was food was costlier compare to outside. Hosts were welcoming.

This was a wonderful stay. Martin, the owner, was caring about everything and he together with his parents let me and my children experience real excellent hospitality. The 3 rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is located really on the beach - from the large terrace to the waves about 200 m only. Martin also owns and runs a nice Restaurant with excellent food 15 minutes away by auto. We all enjoyed the stay at this place and we thank a lot for the hospitality. Martin, apologize for my late review, I should have done it much earlier! Regards to you and your parents!!!

We had a beautiful stay at Martin's place. His parents are the ones managing the place and were very sweet and helpful. The rooms and terrace are huge, very clean and excepcionally well decorated. Just in front of the beach with fishermen hanging out during the day. The perfect spot to relax and blend into an authentic Kerala'n costline village.

A good budget friendly place to hangout with your friends. Caretaker was very friendly. It's a beach facing property. I would rather suggest to rent the whole property if there's more than 4 person.

If you want peace and tranquillity away from the dusty, chaotic town, this is your place. ||The rooms are fairly spacious and simply furnished. The WiFi generally worked well, even on the balcony - but seems to be switched off at night.||The bungalows are in a lonely spot, away from everything with only the owners and the fishermen outside the compound for company. They are there first thing in the morning, mending their nets and last thing at night, playing cards under the shade of a tree.||The sea is rough here and you need to be a confident swimmer to brave it - and that's true of anywhere around Alleppey - and we didn't sit on the beach (too hot anyway). But from Angeo, you can take a pleasant walk all the way into town - and see all manner of things. Once we watched the 'call and response' of fishermen as they pulled their boat onto the beach; local boys invite you to swim with them and on another occasion we saw a pod of dolphins just off the shore.||The shoreline is busy with crows, egrets and sandpipers looking for a snack. ||Cafe Catamaran is a great place to stop off for refreshing drink - and the owners are chilled and friendly - always coming over to sit with you and have a chat. ||||The owners of Angeo are gracious, friendly people with little English - at first disconcerting - but eventually we found ways to communicate. They cooked a delicious multi-dish dinner for us on our first night - delicious, good value and an excellent way to experience good, homemade Kerala food.||The veranda, makes a wonderful outside living and dining room. And it's wonderful to go to sleep at night with the sound of the waves in your ears.||The hammocks are a nice touch - but watch out for those crows, who might baptise you!||||My only disappointment was (unlike the claim in Booking.com) there were no bicycles. I'd hoped we could use those to nip in and out of town. And for this reason, I am grading the property four rather than five stars.
