The Vijaya Palace

I was disappointed to find that the surroundings of the bar hotel were quite dirty during my visit. It's essential for a hotel to maintain a clean and inviting environment, especially around its premises. This aspect certainly impacted my overall experience negatively.

My review is for he restaurant and not for the hotel. It’s a nice, clean place for a stopover meal when you are on the highway from Tvm to kochi. They serve fresh delicious food as well as provide clean five star like toilets. The staff there is help and courteous and will make all efforts to get the food of your choice. Authentic Kerala dishes are good and they also have few North Indian and Chinese dishes as well. Overall a good family place for stopover. They also serve beer.

The hotel is basic with large rooms. The cleanliness is good and the staff are very polite. Most of the utilities are out of order or don't work. No WiFi and cable is also useless with malayalam channels only. Rest if you are on a business trip with a budget in mind this is a best one

Hotel is outside the city Kollam. It has a restaurant attached. The rooms were clean. The TV and air-conditioning was good. With the amount hotel is charging, they don't give the drinking water. The attached restaurant is always closed whenever you go. Overall a decent hotel with hefty room rent.

Good for small stays for a small period. Mini gathering stays for friends who want to attend any weddings nearby.

No complementary buffet breakfast. U have to be satisfied with what they offer like dosa. In room they don't provide electric kettle, coffee powder, sugar etc. No shower gel in wash room. Not providing shaving kit or dental kit. There were frequent disruption in power. Food options for dinner are also limited. They only have porotta and chappathi which r bought in packets , not prepared in their kitchen. TV is having Asianet cable and no HD channels are available. Have to be satisfied with already available channels. They will not provide any additional channel upon guest's request.

We are from Malaysia and we had a gathering for dinner with our family from Chavara on the 22 of October. The food was superb and the service was good with friendly staff. The Gobi Manchurian and the chicken dishes were excellent. Thank you for making our evening wonderful. We will definitely come back again and I hope we will get the same food quality and service on our next visit. Mr.Pillai & Mr.CP. Vikraman & families.

A very good hotel we liked very well. Good facilities like hot water, Restaurant, mini bar, newspaper etc. Complimentary break fast was very fine. So much of amenities were given. Modern lift facility was there. Room was quite big and spacious. We had a nice time staying here.
