I loved my stay here! My boyfriend and I got an A/C room which was pretty affordable. The room was clean and there was warm water -- not hot, but you honestly don't really want a super hot shower in Kochi! It is close to the pier to get to Fort Kochi and around lots of good food, and temple grounds which seem to have frequent events. John was very kind and accommodating to us. We had no problems here at all!

Clean rooms with shower and mosquito screens on the windows. Location is perfect for the ferry and bus station.

Staff is friendly and helpful. But they are happy if they can make an extra $. Off season the place is mainly empty. There is no shared kitchen or living room except the small entrance room. No dorms. AC and non AC rooms only. The place does not have an excellent location. Many little shops but nothing really interesting. You are much better staying at Cochin Fort. That's the place where things happen. The place is however close to the railway station and port where boats leave for Cochin Fort.

I stayed with my family on 14 May 2022. Let me explain what I felt there. Positive and Negative comments. Positive Comment. 1) The room is big size( we took the A/c deluxe room 1800 Rs). 2) Peace ful atmosphere. Negative Comments. 1) No hot water is available even in Family A/c deluxe Room. 2) Bed, bed sheet and all furniture are too old. 3) No carpet infront of toilet. 4. Old model TV and A/c are in deluxe room. Many tv chanels are not subsribed.

John was pretty rude when we first met him and eveytime we arrived at the front desk no one was ever there. The room was nice enough but was basic. It always annoys me also when rooms have AC but the establishment wants to charge 800 rupees for the remote... Just standardise it!

John and his young apprentice were beyond helpful. Rooms were very clean, nice and homely and mosquito free! Wifi fast. Close to boat jetty to Fort Cochin. Recommended.
